In light of recent events regarding old, regular, and cherished posters leaving, I have come to the conclusion that this is more than I can bare. When I first got here from the FFXI forums a year ago I couldn't believe some of the things were said, and yet I found myself laughing my *** off. I struggled and toiled to gain acceptance, and though few and far between, I dare say I got some good reactions out of people. I took a break for a few weeks, came back, was bored, took another break and came back again, yet, something is missing from these forums. It lacks a certain, I don't know what.
So to all of you still around, the ones before me, thanks for the memories, the laughs, and the hazing. To all of those who came recently, I have but one request. I implore you to try and create a post that will inspire some kind of response in someone at the other end of the internets. Whether it be anger, laughter, or repulsion, take some time and really think before you hit the "post message" button. I know first hand that sometimes, that which seems like wit, is actually, well, for lack of a better term, not.
This being said, I would like to thank everyone for putting up with me. And when I get back from my vacation the first week of february, I hope there's some more interesting stuff to read.
