Bones of prehumans dated to 4.5 million yearsFollow

Link to story

Evidence from other A. ramidus specimens shows its skull rested directly atop its spinal column, rather than in front like apes. This suggests it could walk upright, or had bipedal abilities.

So what do you think? Possible part of the missing link for evolution or just bones that were put in the earth to confuse us, since the earth hasn't been around anywhere near 4.5 million years?

i can't tell if you are joking or not about the age of earth...Anyway, i think that the previous oldest humanoid found on earth was 'LUCY', like 4 million years old.

I think it was Intelligent Design. But obviously not too intelligently designed, otherwise they wouldn't have died out and would be here to work our drive-throughs and wax our cars today.

So they were ID by a really stupid deity. That would explain everything so, despite my lack of evidence, it's a valid theory and should be accepted by the entire forum unless you're all close-minded hypocrits. Smiley: laugh

I accept this perfectly valid theory, though it lacks any evidence, scientific hypothesis or actual research.

Ill start ordering the stamps for texts books now.

Clearly whoever they were, they were the victims of a vicious serial killer. Heads, hands and feet of over 60 individuals have been found, and the remainder of the body parts are missing? Obviously he was dumping them in separate locations to avoid detection.

I suspect australopithecus. He had a shifty look to him. Or, at least, his fossil remains do.

Actually the "A" in "A. Ramidus" stands for Ardipithecus and the main suspect Australopithecus was off the by a long ways.

Why, that's the only type of information I believe in. Bah, scientists, they think their brains so big.

Umm... Earth has been around about 4.2 billion years. Did the sarcasm fly over my head, or have you just not had your coffee yet. Smiley: tongue

The sarcasm flew over your head. There are a few religious nuts who think the earth has only been around for a few thousand years.

Smiley: laugh Make sure since you're both agreeing to this that the stamps say it is no longer a theory, but "fact" that ID was true in this case. Case dismissed on our other threads. We have an answer now.

You know whats really fun, look at "Christian" universities like the Trinity colleges and for some reason none of them that I can find offers courses in Anthropology.

Why cant my major for post secondary and the lord Jesus Christ get along?

It says in the article that Lucy was about 3.6 million years old. If that's true, I can't even ponder how old Ricky Ricardo must have been.
