Be glad you're not in DC. The snow, coupled with the inauguration tomorrow.. I don't even want to think about it.

Personally, I life in FL...

Meaning mornings are cold, afternoons are hot, and nights are cold and wet.

Florida sucks during the winter time.

lol, you all have it easy.

It got to -54 F up in northern MN last week - that's not counting wind chill either. It was like -10 here. To put it in perspective, people down South whine when it gets in the 40s (something I'd call chilly but by no means cold).

Snow is easy - freezing your nuts off, now that sucks! ^^

Windchill Wind Chill

anyway, we have 2 inches of salt left on our Jersey roads from Sunday Nights 1/4 of an inch dusting. That should take care of Tonights 1 inch blizzard to end all!

Windchill Wind Chill

No way Sora, where Goose lives people take out their windshields for the summer since it's so hot. Some choose not to put them back in in the winter. Since this is OBVIOUSLY well known, the meterologist reports include the temperature when driving with AND without windshields to make sure everyone is accomodated. I believe that -50°C with windshield equates to -75°C w/o windshield.

Now you know for next time don't you.

getting another 2+ inches today and we reached a high of 6F yesterday (no windchill included there). Got to a high of 16 today, and are expecting a high of 3 tomorrow. Plus ut sounds like a big storm may be incoming this sunday.

I'm ready to move to FL.

Hehe. Yeah. I was just thinking today when getting in my car that it was pretty darn hot. Almost had to put on the AC, but decided to just roll down the window instead.

Snow's that stuff they put on the mountains for skiing, right? ;)

Actually I will be heading down to FL in 3 weeks or so. SO I'll get to somewhat enjoy the weather and defrost while I'm there.

Thanks for the invite Proof Smiley: blush

Heh, in school, we have a mentally retarded kid do the weather on our news show, and one day he randomly yelled out "God has dandruff!" on the air. It was hilarous.

Funny you say that. Last summer when we had thunder storms, my son would come racing into our bed freaked out. My husband finally was able to calm him telling him the sky was farting. My son thought this was so funny that after the initial shock of each storm he starts cracking up because the sky is farting

edited because I spell gooder on paper then on the computer

Waht would the sky farting actually equate to? just the wind? or would it be thunder and lightning?? hmmmm

My Granma would tell me the "Devil's beating his wife".
and my Dad told me the Angels were bowling.
