Do you let your child do this?Follow

What’s worked for me:

If you live upstairs use heavy ponderous stomping footsteps around your apartment as if the God himself was walking around upset, until they stop, if they continue again start back up. If they come upstairs to complain tell them you were walking around like you normally do, apologize and then mention, in a nice 'oh by the way' tone that their kids are getting a bit noisy. They will catch on soon enough that the stomping and noisy kids come hand in hand, that you live upstairs and can make ceilings shake and pictures fall and stomping around is an active and cathartic way of expressing your anger. They also really can’t complain to the manager without either looking like an over sensitive whiner or admitting their noisy kids are upsetting you, after all why else would you be stomping around?

If you live downstairs you are lazy idiot who is getting what she deserves.

hehe I do like another poster on here said.

I wait till they are finally asleep (2am'ish) then start busting out mixes on the turntables, LOUD! I only go through a few tracks then turn it off before the cops get called on ME hehe (the cops came over one time and I had the turntables covered up and everything off, I said I didn't know what he was talking about)
