Guess who made (and didn't realize it at first) 3k posts! Smiley: king

Just 7k to go and I could be at the same level as Joph, Kao, and a few others that I forget the names to.

You will have the same amount of posts, not be at the same level as them. Please dont get those two things confused.

of course by the time you get to 10k they will have reached some uber high number and make fun of you for being a year or two behind

It is amazing that you have managed to amass 3 thousand posts and until now I have not noticed your existance. Given it could be that I subconsciously tune out people with names surrounded by x's or v's but I am not sure.

But therein lies the quandry. Now given, I could be the person who posts on every thread regardless of my ability to really add to the conversation but the day I become that person I hope that Allakhazam revokes my ability to post here. The last thing I want to be is the tool that no one knows or cares about that is blowing his own horn over having three thousand posts. Hell I think I hit three thousand posts about a year and a half ago...back on the old style forum and since then I have found about eight hundred intelligent things to say.

Of course those eight hundred posts are more memorable than all three thousand posts by mr. xxvvmmEXODUSmmvvxx.

Now I am not trying to rain on your parade here Exodus, but the truth is that no one cares, myself included. When and if you reach a pinnacle that few have accomplished like 8k, and you manage to do it with at least half a dozen of us noticing, then I will be the first to light a cake and lead a processional to your house. Good luck with that.

Wrong

I care. Wehnever I see one of the peas from my own pod moving up the chain in this great catastrophy of a sub-social microcosm, it makes the blood in my veins run screaming with pride that here, in this far side of the website, vast mouse clicks away from the primordial bustling languish that was our home for so long.... the FFXI Forum, we can finally have a place where we are not judged by the color of our names, but the content of our MMORPG of choice.
So Let those post counts Fly brother Exodus!!, so that one day all of our weeping and wailing FFXI bretheren over on the nether forums can the freedom and the acceptance that we all long for!!
I have a dream that one day this forum will rise up and live out the try meaning our it's creed: Deep out of topic discourse.
It is our hope and our faith that we will be able to extract out of the megabites of dispair a kilobite of hope. The we can transform the jangling rantings and ranblings into a dialogue of brotherhood!! The on this day all of Allakhazams posters will be able to post with new meaning, "I HAVE REACHED 3000 POSTS!!!111oneone". Let them post it on each and every forum of the site!! Post it on every journal and thread ever made!! From the empty SWG forums to the haughter EQ2 forums!!
"3000 posts!, 3000 post!
Thank Bob Almighty, I got 3000 posts!!"

Here's an example of the post you were just talking about. :)

Because you actually care what we think? I thought you always stood for not caring? Hmmmm

Maybe, but your mom's happiness doesn't count here unless she posts as well.

Then why did you take the time to write not one, but two, posts to this thread?

You attempted to make a mother joke.

Moreover you can not disseminate the lack of caring about someone getting 3000 posts and the lack of caring about someone responding to my have put said person in their cosmic place.

But forget all of that, you attempted to make a mother joke.

That wasn't an attempt at a joke. I'm serious. You're mom really doesn't count.

Run on sentences are not your friends. Commas help, along with making sense. Try making it 2 sentences next time, it might help.

Again, not joking. She really doesn't count. Sorry to burst your bubble Taco.

DSD, respect your elders.

Here we have a Old School original Oot poster from before the Asylum was the Asylum who is giving us a taste of what the Asylum was famous for and not the watered down GFY that it has become.

Appreciate it, dont make yourself look small by attacking the real deal.

If no one can tell by my smilies I put up that I am joking all the way, then I pity you.

For respecting my elders, I do that in the real world. For the Asylum, no holds barred. Respect is earned both ways. I respect many here, including Taco, but it's not because I have to.

As for being a grammar ****, LOL as if! Again, take a joke like a man. I am the last one to talk about grammar as I care less about it. As olong as I can read the post, and paragraphs are used, I dont care.

bhodissativa beat me to it. But basically being a Grammar **** is always in bad taste.

Moreover, no matter how you phrase it Mother Jokes lack humor.

Your insidious smiley code is only breakable by housewives and school children of which I am neither.

Your grammar sucks.

No, I am kidding it is fine.

I like Mother jokes.

No, not really, just kidding.

Take a stand! Fight for what you believe in! Remember that waffling just like this is what caused John Kerry the presidency!

In this you are correct. Not that it matters all that much, as what is says is a universal truth.

Well, far be it for me to think adding smilies that look like Smiley: wink and Smiley: sly would imply a joke in the first place. I guess I'll keep it in mind that people don't pay much attention to those. Unless it just goes over their heads. (shrug)

And anyone here who pays attention to my posts ( that would count for about 2 asylum posters) would attest that my spelling is atrocious when I post. I type too fast to get my point in to reread for my spelling errors.

So if you want me to take a stand here it goes;

I can waffle whenever I damn please. No one can take that away from me. I rarely do, but I am allowed the freedom. If you don't like waffles, then damnit, go eat your pancakes for all I care!

Thhhhhhhhhp! (god I need coffee)
