Has anyone seen this movie? I never heard about it (nothing new) until last night when my husband mentioned he wanted to see it. Since it was on On Demand, we watched it tonight and I haven't laughed so hard in ages.

Stiller is great, and I loved Vince Vaughn in Old School. I might just have to bum a ride to the movie store and check this one out. Smiley: smile

My wife and I wanted to see a movie awhile back. It was the best thing in the theater but we weren't expecting too much. We were still laughing about it an hour later while eating dinner...now it's in our video collection.

This will definitely be added to our collection as well. It fondly reminded me a bit of the movie Kingpin if anyone has seen that, only better

I thought it was a pretty funny movie.

That whole porch sequence was great.

I just watched that tonight, and it was better than I had remembered it from the theatres. Vince Vaughn is great, as well as the celeb cameos that pop up.

It's funny, but nothing special. Rent it and forget it. Except the part about:

"If you can dodge a _______ you can dodge a ball." And "Remember the 5 D's of Dodgeball." =P

i laughed at the part where the guy threw the wrenches at people but other than that, i felt the movie wasn't that humorous as people expected.

and the way they play dodgeball is too simple..but i guess they need to do that just to hit the end of the movie.

The movie was hiliarious. The interview with Ben Stiller on Video on demand is even funnier. That guy, too me, at least has the wierdest, slapstick personality. I enjoy all of his movies.

I wasn't expecting anything with this movie....

But I came to realize that no matter how many times I witness it, seeing someone get plonked in the head with a ball never ceases to be hilarious. It amazes me that it took so long for someone to come up with the idea of making an entire movie out of it.

The Lance Armstrong cameo is one of the greatest of all time. I haven't laughed so hard since the David Letterman cameo in Cabin Boy. However, that Letterman Cameo was Cabin Boy's only saving grace. The Armstrong cameo in Dodgeball was icing on the cake.

I give it a 8.5 on my ten scale, but it gets a 9.5 in the humor department.

I actually found them getting bonked on the head with wrenches was funnier then the balls. Smiley: laugh

During the credit when Ben Stiller's character is all fat and eating chicken, then proceeds to shake his man-boobs to the tune of the "Milkshake Song" was the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life. I beleive I soiled my pantaloons because I was laughing so hard (not really). Very funny.

As much as I hate Ben Stiller, I found this movie to be very enjoyable.
