Ok I have to ask. Why are all my posts rated down? Do people think I am somebodies sock? Or does someone on this board seriously disagree with everything I say? I don't think I have posted here once and not been rated down. What's the deal? Or is this just more wacky asylum fun?
If I am constantly offending someone please let me know. Or if there is a reason, like all my thoughts are just mindless BS. If it's just random rate down for fun, then I could care less.
From the scores I have it seems like it is only one person, but I don't know.
Oh, and I know this topic will be rated down cause of this boards hard on for karma topics, so go ahead, consider it a freebie.

Ok, now to further my confusion I get an immediate anonymous rate up on my OP? Then as I am posting this, I get a rate down, then another rate up? WTH? Am I the pawn in some weird karma game? Small wonder this is the Asylum.
And now another set of rate downs? Is anyone actually going to respond?
How about this, if someone actually really wants to rate me down, and responds in such, as a show of how worried I am about my karma I will provide a link to all my allakhazam posts and you can just gangbang the hell out of them. I just post for fun at work, so if I go sub default I won't lose any sleep.
Any takers?
Oh and I am going home from work now, so the link to all my posts won't be up till later tonight if anyone wants it.

I can honestly say - this is not an attempt to make me seem superior - I have NO idea who you are. And this is from someone that spends A LOT of time reading this forum.
Have to agree with tricky on this, I don't think I've ever seen you before but if you are going to make a post with the word karma in it, you are going to get rated down.
It's only a rating, it does not make you special.
If someone rates down all your posts maybe you should think if you have upset someone badly, or maybe your posts are like this one and have no interests to any of the members here.

Listen to what everyone is saying hear and take it to heart. Karma is nothing to worry about, but if you post anything here in the asylum about your karma, many will likely rate you down. Other boards (cough cough the FFXI cough) care about the karma number. The rest of us at Allas could really care less.
If you post well and can take the heat here, you'll be fine. If you whine your rating will go down. That's just because we hear so many whining about their karma that it gets repetitive. And no one cares about Karma.

And, um, person who I don't know who's ******** about his karma: The vast majority of posts I make here get rated down too, but I don't go complaining about it. Why should I care? Why should YOU care? This is the Asylum. The regulars hardly ever rate anything, and so any ratedowns you get are probably coming from FFXI kiddies. Making a post ******** about your rates you're getting isn't gonna do anything except **** off the regulars who probably aren't rating you to begin with.
The only times I rate down are either when someone has posted something especially irritating (like a gold-selling post), or when they ***** about karma.
The only times I rate up are when someone posts something that actually makes me laugh out loud or puts new light on an issue, or when it's one of the board regulars posting. Thus, why I just gave Redyne, Angsty, Tricky, Boon and a couple others a rate-up. <3
