My real name is Richard, not Rick, Rich, Richey, Ricky or Ricardo and only D1ck if I properly managed to **** you off. I like my name, it is a name of strength, a name of kings, so whenever some asshat decides to assign me a nickname, whether out of spite, pure laziness or in an attempt to do the Alpha male deal with me, I tell them in no uncertain terms my feelings concerning the matter. It’s not a sign of affection, you don’t know me well enough and if you did you would know I despise nicknames, it’s a malicious and underhanded attempt to place me below you in the pecking order. Every time you call me by the nickname you are telling those around us you are the stronger and smarter male for having forced it upon me. I feel so strongly about this that I have made enemies out friends who insist on using these monikers.

That being said I cannot believe how callous and obvious Bush is about it:

btw, didn't Bush call the president of Taiwan a S.O.B serval times while in a public setting just a while ago? -_-;; regardless of what he really thinks, he really shouldn't use something so rule to call the head of another nation.

And yes I do know about nicknames. Be thankful your own name isn't easily converted to "cu[/b]mrag" - that's a nice highschool nickname. Di[b]ck, indeed.

In 11th Grade I was the shortest guy in the basketball team (5'2") but the best scorer

My nickname was 'stumpy'

Within a year I grew like crazy and was 6'4"

The nickname stuck

Now I'm 6'7" and no-one knows why my nickname is still 'stumpy'

They think it means I have a tiny *****.

My nicname has always been Redyne or Red. The only person that calls me Sara Lynn is my mother, and the **** usually hits the fan when she uses it!

Have a friend named John. I have known at least 15 differnet people with the name John since I have met him. My friends and I have a nice nickname for him. We call him pigporn.
