All the scare of gay marriages and John Kerry turning your kid gay and then they come up and design this little gem:

The Homosexual Bomb

Pentagon has declassified documents, disclosing plans for non-lethal chemical weapons designed to disrupt discipline and morale among enemy troops. The proposals by US Air Force Wright Laboratory included so called aphrodisiac weaponry.

Designed to provoke homosexual behaviour among soldiers becoming sexually irresistible to each other, the plans proposed the weapons to intentionally cause a blow to morale and discipline weakening the troops combat efficiency.

The proposals, from the US Air Force Wright Laboratory in Dayton, Ohio, date from 1994. The lab sought Pentagon funding for research into what it called "harassing, annoying and 'bad guy'-identifying chemicals". The plans have been posted online by the Sunshine Project, an organisation that exposes research into chemical and biological weapons.

I don't think the Bush administration was in office in 1994. Still funny stuff.

Another was to develop a chemical that caused "severe and lasting halitosis", making it easy to identify guerrillas trying to blend in with civilians.

So, in addition to a "gay bomb," another bright idea was a bad breath bomb.

Thanks for the bright ideas, government!

"Halelluyah, it's raining men! Amen!"

Obviously, the gay bomb would be utterly ineffective against the French, who seem to have been hit with a particularly persistent model quite some time ago...

I think there was also a chemical weapon that made skin unbearably sensitive to sunlight, thus forcing those afflicted to stay indoors or underground.

While I am an ardent supporter of the military, even I have to wonder who came up with this idea and, more importantly, who okayed it- seems yet another waste of my tax dollars.

Yea this may be screwed up, but hell... what Presidential Administration did not have a few flaws?

Grant... a good guy couldn’t tell the difference between a crook and a good guy so by his blindness there were crooks that made him look bad. Now with Bush, only a damned idiot would not consider the fact that the president gets information, ideas, suggestions, and either stuff from his administration... yes the administration may be corrupt but it’s not his fault he was deceived by his people, and Congress also has a say in what happens.. you don’t think we went to war because Bush was like OMGWTFBBQ111one111 lets got pawn these %(%$ers, no we went because our intelligence system said there were weapons of mass destruction. Plus the fact that Sadam needed to be taken out of power, and not to forget Bush wanted to help the innocent people over there.

Oh and another interesting point is that previous appointed people by Bill Clinton are still in Bush's Administration so don’t go blaming a President, because most of his choices are influenced by the people. For myself i don’t like our government for the sole reason they hide stuff from us(drolly to protect us) and bad people get into it without notice. Everyone has their views but i hate when people stick to one side w/out looking at the others point of view and think they are the right one because they are self centered. I will not rate any one on this because these are opinions and everyone is entitled to one... Just don’t be blinded without looking into it fully.

Edit: Have you seen "Wag the dog"?
Moon Landing Conspiracy
Read about or learned about any government scandals
Read Howard Zinns "A Peoples History of the United States"
Read "Lies My Teacher Told Me"
Actually pay'd attention in your U.S. History Class
Asked a person from another country how their History was taught
Tried to grasp insight on Politics
<Insert more stuff here>

I have a check on some of these, this is where I am justifying my points, and I’m trying my best to understand both sides of the stories. I'm sure if any of you have done no more than 3 of these points your Point of View on are government is likely to be cynical, not saying that to bash on you, but hey anyone could have done most of these and still be cynical.. I guess it depends on the way your mind works.

There, you happy now? I put it into MS Word and tried fixing it.

he did what he had to do based on what intelligence he had.

now i got a question for you: Your in school and somehow the school adminastration gets told that you were a drug dealer and was armed. So what happens is you get taken into custody by the Principle and some police officers and your backpack is confescated and your locker is opened up and checked. You being you, you are the type of person that would never be so stupid as to do the following.

So how do you feel about what the Adminastration and Principle did to you? Was it right for them to do that?
Now look at Bush's administration and what Bush did.

What if the police and the local DEA agent were telling the school I was in fact probably not a drug dealer. Don't forget to include that part of the scenario.

I would of course would be very upset, and would probably demand my parents transfer me to a new school due to the harasment I was recieving by the administration. I would then also ask my parents to higher a lawyer to look into the situation.

do you see how this is in the same pool with any administration. yea people in school may hate thier teachers, principle, and what ever. If you take the time to look into it one can clearly see that all administration has flaws and you cannot blame it as a whole. So stop doing it.[White](not directed at you)[/Blue]

yea but thats after the search and siezure(selling error) happened to you so it really doesnt affect anything but the view on the police and dea. And if it did happen during the search and seizure then its still thier duty to do that no matter what. (thats basically what our country does.. we learn something and we act upon it) So thats about it.

Since we are supposed to act upon countries selling bad things to even worse countries or people, how come we have yet to invade Pakistan? North Korea?

What about Russias involvment in Chechnya? Isreal's atrocities? The Palastineians commiting atrocities? Sudan?

Where were we during the problems in the Congo? (I whole heartdly attacked Clinton about this.) Aceh province in Indonisa?

The list goes on and on for countries we should or could have done something against by force of arms, and yet we only attacked one. The one that our own state department had doubts about attacking and the U.N. had doubts about. Hans Blix was doing his job, and doing a pretty good job of doing his job.

Why do I like Bush, the very short list:
He wasn't Al Gore
I think he did the best that anyone could do with 9/11 roughly 8 months into office
I think it is wrong to change leaders in a crisis
I think he truly believs that what he did is best for us, and he hasn't wavered from his plan.
His tax plans have helped me, and they make my new business more viable
I like his views on education
I would like a private account for my SS money
He has Scottish Terriers, so do I. (LOL)

Things I don't like:
His view on religion
His views on abortion
his environmental Policies
