Ok, who's smart idea was it to mix 2 flavors together? For one, I thought Dr. Pepper was already a cherry-flavored drink? I also (just an opinion) think any kind of vanilla flavored drink, is just disgusting. So why mix an ok drink, with a crappy one?

And another thing! It says "Fountain Classics" on the can. WTF? I have never heard of a classic Cherry & Vanilla drink. But maybe I'm just picky about my drinks.

I hate cherry flavoured pop, Cherry cola, cherry pepsi, none of it appeals to me.

You're right though, wtf are they doing?

I'm gonna have to try that. Sounds delicious.

The old soda fountains of the 50's used to make drinks like cherry colas and vanilla colas. Mix and match daddy-o.

i'm a dr pepper junkie, so when they came out with the cherry vanilla flavor my wife picked some up. that had to be the worst tasting flavor ever made. if you know whats good for you, you'll avoid it

Sick. Why take something that's already disgusting and make it worse?

I love cherry pepsi and coke, has a nice zing to it. If they used real vanilla in the Dr. Pepper I might try it, but I still shudder thinking of Vanilla Coke, that sucked. On a side note, I find generic sodas meant to sound like brand names funny. For instance, Safeway's Dr. Pepper is "Dr. Perky". HEHE I could stand in the aisle and look at that all day. Best one though was The Skipper, I think Food Lion produced it as a knock-off to Dr. Pepper. Oooh, that was good. I like how it wasn't just Skipper but THE Skipper. Kind of like "Passion of THE Christ". In fact, exactly like that. They really should mass-market the Blood of Christ for general consumption.

That's called a "suicide", at least it was in Virginia. The Mountain Dew is the deadliest component, heh.

So far I have only seen this vanillia, cherry, dr. pepper drink in diet form out here in so.cal and I won't drink diet drinks.

If I should ever see a non-diet version I will pick it up and give it a try, sounds interesting.

In so.cal we also call it a suicide when you mix all the fountain flavors together.

They still do this at Sonic if you have those in your area. They have a bunch of different flavors you can mix into their sodas for like a quarter.

I normally like Dr. Pepper, cherry drinks and vanilla drinks, but Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper tastes like crap.

That does sound pretty disgusting. IMO Vanilla coke has to be the worst drink Coca-Cola has come up with. It's the only drink I've had that just gets progressively worse. The can I could supposedly have now would taste worse than the one before it.

I'll wait to try it when it comes out in it's generic form. Until then it's more Dr. Skipper and Morning Dew for me (it would be funnier if these wern't real names).

I perfer Faygo drinks if I'm going to get something cherry flavored. Cherry Coke and Pepsi in general are disgusting, as is Vanilla Coke. If you want a real cherry or vanilla flavored drink, stop by a Friches Big Boy some time.

Once again, I'm in the minority. I've never tried Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, but I like Vanilla Coke.

Since no one else seems to like Vanilla Coke, more for me! Yay!

Actually that sounds pretty good, even though I haven't really drank Dr. Pepper for a while.

A few years back I had a History teacher who liked to drop random facts into his lectures. One day, a kid in the class came in drinking a bottle of Dr. Pepper. He commented that one of the ingredients was prune juice.

While I don't know if that is true or not, every time I've tasted Dr. Pepper since I've tasted prune juice. Consequently, I never drink it.

As far as I know, Dr. Pepper is carbonated prune juice, I don't think it's cherry.

Edit: whoops someone already said this.

The prune juice is an urban legend. Google it if curious.

The Trickster is Right.

It's too bad that their "cloak of secrecy" about their formula has been duplicated exactly. Even the likeness of the can is used.

I laughed my *** off the first time I saw "Mr. Pibb"

I think that the Coke with Lime is more disgusting than vanilla coke.

I don't like Vanilla Coke, but I like Vanilla Pepsi though.
