Funny how that's a "black" website, and it's no longer primarily a black issue (if it ever was).
I see tons of teenagers with kids by different fathers -- more and more of them white, from middle-to-upper-middle class families.
It's sad to see so many women, and kids trying to become women pulling out multiple Medicaid cards, each with a different last name, while digging for the one that they need for the kid they brought to the ER this week.
Heaven f*cking forbid they learn to keep their legs together if they can't figure out how to take a freaking pill or use a damn rubber.
Marry their baby's daddy? Which one, for crying out loud.
And the comment about "Getting some counseling to make the marriage work if it's God's will." I can't imagine it's God's will for these girls to have so little self-respect for themselves -- I can't see a marriage borne from an "oh sh*t" moment really being God's will, either.
But then again, stranger things have happened.

Since when is an unstable marriage the answer to anything? In my opinion, to many people are getting married for the wrong reasons already. In the Marines enlisted men have a 65% divorce rate in the first 2 years. Most of them are for exactly what this article discusses, “marry your baby daddy”. Since when has a child been a reason to get married in the past thirty years? Marriage is about love trust and friendship. Not oh crap I knocked you up I need to marry you.
Also, this really pisses me off “Marry Your Baby Daddy”, shouldn’t it be “Marry Your Child’s Father”? If the message you are trying to send is an educated one and well thought out shouldn’t you address it as such?
