And somehow....Follow

Somehow this is supposed to make Bush look bad?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,143452,00.html

This is what I mean by democrats defeating themselves. Of course Barbara Boxer has always been a ****, this shouldn't suprise anyone. I still think anyone who votes for her needs to have their head examined.

WTF are you talking about moran? I see nothing in the story about Democrates claiming it will make Bush look 'bad.' I do see that some Democrates are expected to make a token contention, nothing more. You may also want to get your news from a more apolitical source than FOX News.

Of course I get my news from many sources I just happened to spot this one while on the phone with a customer..

Anyways, it really makes the Dems look petty. The constant dissent is bound to catch up... Oh wait it has.

As opposed to initially wanting to change the rules so that even if DeLay was indicted, he would still be able to serve?

Or trying to change the old 60-vote rule to 51 needed to break filibusters?

Hell, even Kerry said when the whole thing started he knew he wasn't going to win, but wanted to have everyone's vote counted for the sake of it.

If we look petty, you guys look like jerks. =/

Let the progressives ***** and whine all they want, it's not going to change anything. In fact, they've been ******** and whining for four years, and look how far that got them. Like Git said, this is more for show than anything else.

If pro is the opposite of con, then does that mean that Congress is the opposite of progress, or did I just ******* blow your mind? *

Really? Hmmmmm...

Edit-well well well, what's this?

http://www.cnn.com/2005/ALLPOLITICS/01/04/congress.ethics.reut/index.html

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- A day after backing off a rules change that would have allowed an indicted congressional leader to retain his post, the House adopted a separate change that will make it harder to pursue ethics probes of members of Congress.

Guess we gave 'em too much credit for backing off of their first idea, probably couldn't stand us having any sort of respect for 'em. =/
