WTF are you talking about moran? I see nothing in the story about Democrates claiming it will make Bush look 'bad.' I do see that some Democrates are expected to make a token contention, nothing more. You may also want to get your news from a more apolitical source than FOX News.

As opposed to initially wanting to change the rules so that even if DeLay was indicted, he would still be able to serve?
Or trying to change the old 60-vote rule to 51 needed to break filibusters?
Hell, even Kerry said when the whole thing started he knew he wasn't going to win, but wanted to have everyone's vote counted for the sake of it.

Let the progressives ***** and whine all they want, it's not going to change anything. In fact, they've been ******** and whining for four years, and look how far that got them. Like Git said, this is more for show than anything else.
