Best shows ever to be on FOXFollow

#1 Jan 05 2005 at 3:51 AM Rating: Default
First off, we all know FOX is ****. It has probably 0 good shows on the whole network. But Family Guy is coming back in either March or May and American Dad is premiering after the super bowl! Finally a reason to wacth TV (especially FOX) again!

You do know family guy is on Cartoon Network, right?

Yeah, but it's all syndicated and I own all the DVDs. FOX is gonna have the new season.

And if anyone doesn't like Family Guy, it's because you obviously don't have a brain.

END COMMUNICATION.

Married with Children pwns Family Guy

Sorry but Peter Griffen couldn't hold Al Bundy's high school football jock.

Wasn't Fox the network that produced Married with Children, In Living Color, MadTV. Futurama, The Simpsons, That 70's show, & Boston Public?

Perhaps the best show ever wa good grief. Aired on fox in 1990 but pulled shortly there after. I believe it was before it's time.

FOX has the greatest shows of any major network. You can all say whatever you want, but you all know that everyone watched Screech beat the daylights out of Horshack (sp) on Celebrity boxing.

Cops, Married with Children, In Living Color, Simpsons, 70's show, 24, Futurama, Arrested Development, Temptation Island (I and II), etc. X-Files Smiley: wink2

Come on now...we know its mostly trash but its the most entertaining network on tv.

Its 7:45...of course there are typos.

You forgot The X Files (prior to Duchovny's departure.)

I don't know if you include sports, but Fox does show football on Sundays. Smiley: smile

Boston Public? I guess it was good for the first month or so before you started to wonder how come every single day was "student brings a gun" or "steamy sex scandal" day.

There've been a lot of good FOX shows. Agree with others on the Simpsons and Futurama, though Simpsons kind of sucks now. And yes, Arrested Development is a very funny current show. The X-Files was good until it started getting soap operaish, it was much better starting and resolving entire storylines in one episode.

But the best FOX show no one's mentioned...FASTLANE!!! That show rocked!

I would point out that Fox probably wouldn't be airing half the shows they air nowadays if they hadn't decided to be "different" and "edgy" with "Married With Children"
Now, I'm 30 and as such subject to memory lapses (according to my little brother), but as I recall the Bundy's, Gary Shandling, and Tracy Ulman were the initial program lineup (not necessarily in that order) that Fox tried to create it's identity with. Eventually the Simpsons spun off of Tracy and in swooped the X-files.

So, it's all about Al
(Though Stewie should be an honorary Bundy)

this is the theme to Gary's show the opening theme to Gary's show, Gary called me up and asked if I would write his theme song. I'm almost halfway finished how do you like it so far? The opening theme to Gary Shandling's show....

...This is the theme to Gary's show, the opening theme to Gary's show. This is the music that you hear as you watch the credits. We're almost to the part where I start to whistle, then we'll watch It's Gary Shandling's Show.

Top of the head. Although I think the show was "The Gary Shandling Show" instead of "It's Gary Shandling's Show" but it's been years, so sue me.

No no no.. just curious if I was the only one who had that annoying little ditty permanently seared into their frontal lobe. I am apparently not alone in my torment, and feel somewhat better knwoing I'm not a nutjob for having remembered it (though I am most likely a bit loopy for other reasons, I'm sure).

Well, if we disqualify the Bundy's and Simpsons, I'd definitely put Herman's head up there on my list.

But now that I think about it...
I always liked Werewolf, I wish they'd put that out on DVD.

And John Doe was an interesting recent one (I was never able to catch Firefly, I think it conflicted with my Farscape viewing)
