Bah. My comp at work has a log out timer which cannot be circumvented, so half the time when I make a post it kicks me out without making it to the board, the other half it goes into lock-up mode. For a T1 line it is abysmally slow. Couple that with an in-hospital operating system which still uses DOS, I never am certain what goes through or not. It especially pisses the nurses off when they work on a patient's chart for 2-3 hours and the system dumps them out losing everything in the process.
Obviously I have never had this problem at home, but it is here at the hopsital where indeed I learned to spam one night. The system got clogged and I didn't know what had happened, so I started pressing Post Message repeatedly. Much to my surprise I had twenty or thirty posts when I logged back on shortly afterwards. I just never know what makes it or not, so now I just copy everything over to notepad and submit it. That way I always can repost stuff.
It's frustrating, but come February all this will change for me since I won't be a hospital employee any longer.
