Alright already, get your fingers off the left mouse button poised over the Google page. Let's see if we can do this without that modern day ubiquitous crutch for a change, shall we?

My challenge is this: As a group we generally are into RPGs and wizards and dragons and whatnot, so tell me using what small cranial faculties you have what the crypts of Leiberkuhn are. Feel free to use what little imagination you have to come up with a suitably creative response if you haven't a clue as to what-- or where --they are.

I'll give a great big ol' RACK to the person who gives the best answer or barring that, the correct one. Have at it.

Under the scorched crater this crypt resides, Inside it has many maddened dwarfs and elves alike. It was once a great kingdom many years back created by the great dwarf Leiberkuhn and his kin. Many years they have prospered until Leiberkuhn decided to adopt an elf as a child. The Clan was furius and after 40 years they butchered Leiberkuhn and the elf maiden. In doing such a haness act they were cursed to rome the crypts for eternity.

Don't ask me where the other elves came from.

Aren't they part of the Immune Defense System and Digestive System? Better known as Intestinal Crypts...think they actually have something to do, largely, with Stem Cells...

Either that, or I'm way off...and don't know anything about RPG's that I thought I did (ironic how my answer has nothing to do with RPG's...you trickin us, Totem?)

Ok, I'm gonna puss out because all of those answers made me laugh-- except for Redyne's which is the correct response. The crypts of Leiberkuhn are intestinal glands found in the mucosa. They secrete 2-3 liters of yellow fluid containing enzymes that assist in nutrient digestion.

Other than that you guys have a good sense of humor with what you said. RACK each of you!

I actually knew about the gland part. But it is also a old hang out that Dumbledore used to hang out in when he was young as mentioned in one of the Harry Potter books.

The crypts of Lieberkuhn, or more commonly known as the Crypts of Lying Raccoons, is a secret crypt maintain by the Republican party. It is rumored to be the true final resting place of Hitler and is frequented by GWB in his quest to enslave the free world. There is talk of a top-secret lab being built there in attempts to clone Hitler and have him run as the Repub's '08 ticket.

Freedom is Slavery after all.

Deep in the stomach of the evil Abdominalias, lies the Crypt of Leiberkuhn, where all must beware. This dark, wet, and enclosed area is filled with nasty aggroable mobs called Parasitisians. They come in groups and will attack anything not quickly recognized as one of their own. Their special attack is a D.O.T. called "Digest" which will slowly eat away at your armor. Only the enchanter has a special ability, an illusion that can sneak your party through unharmed. "Illusion; Parastisian" is a group spell, but it only lasts for 2 minutes. Keep the enchanter safe and you can pass safely through the Crypts of Leiberkuhn relatively unharmed. If you can not find an enchanter with this ability, you will need a full group, well balanced, and you will need to take it slow and steady. The D.O.T. can last up to 20 ticks, doing 430 damage a tick. There is no spell that can get rid of this D.O.T.

Once past the Parasitisians, watch your step as the caves can be hazzardous with pools of acidic water looming abut. Because it is dark here, you need to becareful. The acidic waters are just as lethal as lava, and can kill you quickly if you are not wary.

The xp is great, however, and if you are a brave soul with adventure on his mind, he crypts of Leiberkuhn may be a place that calls to you.
