As most of you know, since you started it, there's been some rumors on the board saying that I'm in fact Qaoz, or rather, one of his socks.
I had hoped it would go unnoticed, but unfortunately, our connection is too obvious and Kaolian soon discovered the little secret. It wasn't until Nobby confronted me on IRC, I decided to unwrap the whole thing though. Mostly because I don't want any false rumors on the board.
Am I Qaoz then? Fortunately not. Kaolian quickly discovered that we had the same IP; that's how he almost jumped to conclusions which made me consider revealing it before nasty thoughts would circle the board about me.
Qaoz is my little brother and since we both use the same computer, we have the same IP. I payed for Qaoz's membership since he's not old enough to own a credit card.
There, well. For some it might come as a surprise while others might've know this before now, but nevertheless, this is how it is.
How did Qaoz reach Scholar with an initial base karma of 2.8? I searched the board and rated him up where I could find evidence of camping. And I could in a lot of them. Now, I know he's been whining about karma and that some of you are pretty annoyed by this. I looked through his posts and surely, he did ***** a lot! It doesn't justify karma camping though. I had a little talk with him about it and he assured me that he wouldn't do it again, but I dunno if he's serious about it.
So, now you know. We're related. Yay for me.
