Ok, suppose Gary Oldman, Cristopher Walken, and Mickey Rourke got into a fight (physical or of wits, use your imagination). Who would win? Who would run home to mama?

Walken he has wits, physical grit aka DEERHUNTER, and is the Patron Saint of Cowbell.

Guess What? I got a fever! And the only prescription is... more Cowbell!

Walken for sure, although Gary Oldman is rather insane. Mickey Rourke in this Matchup? No match for either of them.

Now what I'd like to see is a screaming match between Al Pacino and Sam Kineson. Who do you think would win that one? (let's suspend disbelief here...we all know Sam is dead)

I think it depends... Raging Bull Pacino would own, but Tony Montana would probobly be too drugged up to be effective.

This is true. But what if Sam has a large, Italian garlic-ey dinner before the match? He might even the tides against even Raging Bull!

Now if this was a 'worst british accent' competition, I reckon it's a close call between Mickey Rourke (Belfast priest) in "Thicker than Blood" and Keanu Reeves (English toff) in "Dracula".

I think Reeves probably gets the "**** Van ****" award on that one

Christopher Walken would win hands down. Not that Oldman wouldn't give it the old college try, mind you. Rourke wouldn't even show up.

As for the bad english accent competition, the champion would be Kevin Costner in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

Doesn't count. He didn't even try.

Some of the most convincing Brit-speaking yanks:

Renee Zellweger (I never saw her before Bridget Jones and honestly thought she was a north Londoner)
George C Scott (Dr Watson in an otherwise disappointing Sherlock Holmes Film

And of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger (Everyone in Devon speaks like that. Uncanny)

Physically Mickey Rourke could probably destory both of the others. Rourke actually fought professionally, albeit against some lackluster talent, but still even the worst professional fighters would clean up against Joe Average.

In a battle of wits Walken would clean up. While Rourke and Oldman can ACT scarey, Walken IS scarey.

Ha, Oldman can 'Act'. I don't know 'bout the above statement though...

I would put my money on Walken to win the battle of wits, and Rourke for the physical matchup. Rourke often plays a heavy, or tough guy (though usually getting his ass kicked).

Walken is insane, but have you seen Oldman in 'Leon'? He's nuts.

Rourke is more a brawler type while Walken and Oldman are psychos in suits.

Walken always makes me think creepy rather than scary, like I don't want him around my kids.

Gary Oldman was pretty intense in Leon. He gets my vote.

I think it depends a lot. Walken would win if style and sheer creepiness would translate over to pure asskicking ability. Oldman seems to always play hardcore psychopaths (Zorg in 5th Element, the D.A. in The Professional). Plus he plays masterminds... so I'm thinking hand to hand he'd have less of a chance, but if he could have a few henchmen to be cannon fodder it would be a little more even.
Rourke actually has the mass and experience fighting to do some real damage. Head on, I think I'd go with Rourke for the win. Especially if he's playing the cook from Spun, or the detective from Angelheart... 100% pure tragic badass.
