Batman Begins;

Constantine;
http://pdl.warnerbros.com/wbmovies/constantine/trailer/trailer_hi/trailer_a.mov

These two movies, sw:ep3, and Narnia seem to be the only interesting movies (for me anyway) comming out next year.

What do you guys think?

Narnia is going to be amazing, so long as Peter Jackson stays the hell away from it. Last thing I want is to hear about how Azlan was madly in love with a Satyr, and that's why he martyrs himself.

I hope all those actors in Batman Begins down dillute the water again, ala Batman Forever. If they can somehow get back to the roots they'll be ok. Also, they need Prince to do the soundtrack again, or this movie will be utter shit.

I'm a fan of John Constantine; he's a comic book character from the Hellblazer series (I met him in the Sandman series) but Nic Cage is the *WORST* person they could ahve cast (besides maybe Keanu "Whoa!" Reeves) so I'll proabbly pass on it.

Hell, I hadn't even heard that they were making Narnia movies. That should be cool.

Looks to me like the Batman Begins will be worth the $6. But then... I am a Batman fan. And if Prince made the soundtrack... that would rokk hard.

uh... Debalic... it _is_ Keanu Reeves playing Constantine.

I KNOW, I AM PISSED OFF TOO. Keanu Reeves is not smart enough, british enough, witty enough, imposing enough, or old enough to play Constantine. Elwes, even though he kind of dropped the ball in Saw, would have been a _much_ better choice.

As for Batman Begins: FFS, it's based on Batman: Year One by Alan Moore, how can anyone complain?

I never read Narnia, mostly because of a dislike for Christian Allegory, and partly because it just didn't appeal to me.

Also, SW:Ep3 will either disappoint or be incredibly f'ucking fantastic. My expectations for it are so low that it will probably be the latter, just because it will be better than what I have pictured in my mind.

I saw the trailer for Batman Begins when I saw Oceans 12 (meh...) last Saturday night. Looked pretty damn good. Didn't even realize it was Batman at first.

Personally, after the first two "Star Wars" movies I don't have much hope for the third. I'll still see it though, and probably on opening weekend.

I agree. Keanu is horrible. He and Winona Rider (sp?) both destroyed B.S. Dracula. I'd give that movie a 10, but Keanu and Winona drag it down to a 6. Gary Oldman was Smiley: king in that movie.

I have faith Batman Begins will own. Christian Bale kicked *** in Equilibrium, so he's a great choice imo to play Batman.

Winona Ryder was good in Alien Resurrection and the movie with Cher.

Keanu should stick to the techno-sci-fi and thriller movies.

Oh....duh. Cage, Reeves, I hate both those guys.

For someone who "personifies the heart and soul of modern London", I would have hoped they actually, y'know, cast a Brit. Tim Roth would have been my #1 choice.
