No matter who makes it, I'm positive the AFC championship game will be a better game than the Super Bowl.
/Agree. Although Atlanta is playing with a chip on their shoulder and could give the Eagles a game.
Pats fan here.
What makes this team great is they take it one week at a time. Each person in the ORGANIZATION is required to totaly focus on the task at hand. So no, Charlie Weis will not fail to game-plan due to his future job requirments.
Kudos to Pittsburgh, they are a very good team and have showed no signs of let down. And with the Giants playing so bad and the Patriots having two division games left (in which you can throw out the records, upsets are frequent) it looks to me like the road to the Super Bowl goes through Pittsburgh.
But the Pats are a lock. There is NO WAY the Patriots coaching staff is going to let a rookie quarterback beat them in an AFC Championship game. Take a look at what the Patriots have done to Peyton Manning the past few games, and then explain to me how Ben Roethlisberger is going to beat them? Sorry, only a plethora of penalties and turnovers could possibly lead to a Steelers victory.
And back to the coaching staff, you have the best head coach in football, with a staff so supreme, it includes the next head coach of Notre Dame. I'm sorry but you have no chance!
It's not the coaches, it's the players? Whelp, the Patriots took a Super Bowl Champion roster and added Corey Dillon, who didn't play when Pittsburgh edged the Patriots earlier in the year. Good luck guys!
