We have 3 new servers on order, one of which will cluster with our current forum server to just handle forums. Hopefully, that will solve this.

Maybe for once you could track site growth and order new servers ahead of time?
Instead of waiting until it becomes abysmally slow and say "we're waiting for new servers to arrive, bear with us!"
