I'm going to bet that she was insane, unless there was an ulterior (sp?) motive for all this. Also, I agree with Nobby here, for a country that's considered highly christian, that it still uses such a practice.

Why is insanity a defense? Some people are just walking time bombs and society will be far far far better off if they were somewhere else. Be it 6 feet under ground or a rotten mildewy hole somewhere society as a whole should not have to suffer to make people capable of evil feel good.

DiscipleOfKain, Don't you dare agree with me, fuckwit.

And how the fu
ck does the US Justice system ignore mental illness in its courts.

Any single one of us could suffer illness, physical or mental.

Sure, if someone's mental illness is dangerous, protect society from them and vice-versa for as long as is needed to cure them. If they're incurable, keep them in secure medical care ad-infinitum.

We gonna execute every Grandparent with Alzheimer's now? Someone with a life-threatening disease?

TB, Aids, Cholera, schizophrenia, Leprosy. Put em in the leccy chair?

Sheesh! After a glimmer of reason, Lefein reverts to keeping his brain warm in snug-fitting Calvin Kleins Smiley: oyvey

Nobby, we emptied the asylums here long ago. Someone thought the psychos would be happier living on the streets than in an asylum. It was cruel, it was unusual.. The things you propose have already been done here and someone along the line thought it was wrong and fucked everything up for everyone. I do believe violently insane people need to be dealt with. To protect the lawfully sane they should not be systematically punished by putting animals back on the streets among us.

It reminds me of that twelve year old girl who got kidnapped and murdered at a gas station. Our legal system has been based for so long on the assertion that violent criminals can be cured that it makes our own court system shit on itself time and time again. A prudent person puts a metal pole away after having run around in a storm carrying one and getting hit by lightning. Why, oh why, does said logic not work with violent criminals who victimize innocents?

Allow me to share my thoughts with us all, Oprah style

You remind me of a moth that crawled in my ear as a child. Annoying, inconsequential, and alarmingly unsatisfying to squish with my thumb.

Take your posts, your PMs and stick em up your ***** If you had any intellect, you'd be a state liability.

As it is, you can just sit waiting for scientists to discover an antibiotic that will eradicate you. You are one of the reasons Varrussword gets rated up. Next to you, he's an academic giant. You make a **** on a toilet seat sound clever. You have the wit, charm and charisma of a bowel disorder.
Might I recommend a few recreational pastimes? Freeway Tag? Javelin catching? Rattlesnake charming?

Fuck Off and die horribly a long way from where I'd have to step over your remains.

Love,

Nobby

Personally, I'm usually all over the death penalty if it has been proved beyond a shadow of a doubt the person is guilty.

This article though, she needs not the death penalty, even if one of the boys died. Oh no. She needs something worse.

Someone said take away Disney tv. Im going to disagree here as she obviously has issues with kids. My punishment for her would to tie her to a cold iron chair, prop her eyelids up, and make her watch teletubbies or Barney non stop. She wouldnt be able to leave that chair except to take a **** (only twice a day) and to sleep in half hour incriments.

Non stop.

For years. For every year those children have lived she must watch. And watch. And watch.

Thats punishment set for even the most criminal of minds. And if you dont believe me, sit down and watch either show for 2 hours straight with no breaks. You'll be blabbering after that

You're just annoying. Not flame material. Just a sad little cunt with nothing to say and no means of saying it.

Insanum, we get it, you're eccentrically gay, became infatuated with Nob, he turned you down, and now you've devoted the rest of your poor life trying to get back at him, where your best result is a forum flame. Grab some tampons and a keg of rocky road, and move on with your life, sheesh...the only true "Struck a nerve" was with Dynasty, and everyone else got pissed off, so that doesn't even count =P
