It should be self explanatory...

My god, some people need to be extradited to ruthless third world countries for the sentencing phase.

How is it that she drives an SUV and needs a public defender?

What a wacko, anyway.

Course she won't be eligible for the DP unless one of them dies, so here's hoping she gets to spend lots of quality time with Large Marge instead.

Why can't attempted murder be punished the same way as murder? I mean, it's like we pat people on the back for actually not being able to kill their prey. We should be thankful if the boy comes out alive and make this bitch face justice.

Allen started to drive away, but suddenly made a U-turn, ran over a median and struck the teens before knocking over a light pole

Wow, just wow, thats some scary stuff. Should be more careful in parking lots these days. Makes me feel less crazy for having weapons in my car.

Yeah, I woulda mowed the ***** down if I saw that happen. But I have a license for concealed weapons.

...and of course it was in Florida where this happened. There is something seriously wrong with that state. Anyway, my mum lives near Jacksonville, I'll ask her to keep tabs on the story for me. I'd like to find out that this ***** is going to spend a long time in prison.

In order to say something relavant and to save face (as if thats possible), I'd have to agree with the OP in that the woman definitely needs to be punished. I mean running over kids? Though something tells me there is more to this than just a golf-ball hitting somebody's SUV.

Given the number of Miscarriages of Justice I'm fundamentally opposed to the death penalty. Don't feel a need to convert me. I just see the families of executed convicts (who later turned out to be innocent) and see as much cruelty as in the original crime.

In cases of callous murder (or even attempted murder), rape or child abuse, I'm an advocate of nasty smelly dark holes in the ground without chance of parole. No bleedin' heart 're-edjamacation' or 'reform'. No TV, no KFC, no Disney DVDs. Nasty, smelly, prison for life.

Ya know Nobby, I am somewhat tempted to agree except the libbies in this country made our prisons so backwards that the inmates could probably sue the state for not having HBO... Plus, Im adverse to feeding people that do nothing for society.

Like I say, none of the soft-cushion prison for murderers. By all means make it tough and unpleasant. Just don't make it so that if the courts/cops fucked up, the only redress is to say 'sorry'.

Here in UK we have several cases where a convicted 'killer' hanged in the 40s or 50s has been proven innocent by DNA. I know the same's true in USA and most countries.

That's as f
ucked up a situation as the victims' families have to deal with.

That's like when some guy down the street flipped out @ me and a friend. We hit his car with a snowball and he jumps out of it, without putting it in park, lol and rushes my friend. He pushed him down, then turns to me and I point at his car as it rolls away and hits a mailbox. Then a neighbor lady, about 4'5" gets all up in his face about it.
