Locusts aren't paticularly Biblical. If there had been seven other plagues hitting Egypt right before the locusts, it'd be a lot more intresting.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Which religions believe in the whole plague thing? I'm guessing its just a couple of those middle eastern religions and their branches but am curious if there is some difference in the branches around that plague point.

Yes, it's a branch of a Middle Eastern religion.

It's called Christianity.

Well I think some of those religions are supposed to split on their storys at some various points and was curious as to if this was one of them. I'm a curious little atheist that would rather not read on each religion from that region since they seem too alike.

Okay, well, in brief the Old Testament plagues supposedly already happened, past tense.

The only plagues anyone would "believe in" as of now would be those in prophecies, such as Revelations. Hence: Chrisitianity.

Well, supposively Zeus, past tense, took the form of a shower of golden coins and knocked some broad up but that doesn't mean I believe in it Smiley: tongue

The Big Three, assuming we're talking a traditionally devout member thereof, believes that the Egyptian plagues described in Exodus actually occured.

Even atheists benefit from a knowledge of religious history. Mainly for their historical influences and as motivation for current globo-political situations, but also for using them to refute other's points. ;)

I actually have gotten into reading on christianity somewhat but really don't have much interest in ivestigating the issues about islam and such.

The reason I even got into reading on christianity and learning about misconceptions and wierdnesses was actually due to ordering books online and noticing a little book by Douglas Adams called "The Prostitute in the Family Tree". Then finding out that "O wrong author" and ended up reading it when I got really bored one day.
