Voter Registration Cards for Crack
The man accused arrived at the Defiance Municipal Court with his girlfriend and his defense attorney.
The defiance man accused of faking voter registration cards in exchange for crack cocaine was in court this morning. He's accused of filling out more than 100 registration cards. This morning, 22-year-old Chad Staton arrived at the Defiance Municipal Court with his girlfriend and his defense attorney. He's facing a fifth-degree felony charge for completing false voter registration cards.

In the courtroom, Staton signed documents agreeing to waive his rights to a preliminary hearing. His case now goes to the Defiance Common Pleas Court. If convicted, he could spend a year in prison.

Investigators say Staton forged more than 100 registration cards and then gave them to a Toledo woman in exchange for crack cocaine.

Staton's attorney tells 13 action news that the woman misled the young man into believing he was doing nothing wrong. Staton did not wish to comment on camera, but his attorney tells us that he's cooperating with authorities and that he's overwhelmed with the national attention this case has received.

We talked with the Defiance Board of Election officials today. They tell us they're pleased with the way the investigation was handled and they hope this case raises awareness across the nation.

Why do you hate "Not-Spamming" and "Not Jumping to Wrong Conclusions"?

Democrats' dirty tricks are catching up with them. An Ohio man registered Democrats in exchange for crack cocaine, he told police. The NAACP National Voter Fund hired a woman who paid Chad Staton with crack cocaine. Staton was charged with filing 124 fake registration forms after the NAACP fund filed them, the Associated Press reported.

The crackhead's forms showed that Mary Poppins, Janet Jackson and Jeffrey Dahmer registered to vote in Ohio. Democrats: 0. Voters: 2. (Democrats could have scored extra points for Jeffrey Dahmer, the dead, cannibalistic serial-murderer. But the ploy failed.)

And that's just a couple out of 171,000 google hits.

Fuck you, Lefein.

It's a bi-partisan issue....but it's clearly more in the interest of the Pubbies to fu
ck with it.

It's actually PART OF THEIR AGENDA.

They've admitted it.

An Ohio man registered Democrats

See, now this fascinates me. If you're making up people, then there is no risk that they'll vote come Nov. 2 for the simple fact that they don't exist. In VA, where I live, you are not asked for party affiliation when you register to vote. Is this not the case in other states?

Dude, come on man you dont need to be hostile... We're fellow Americans, brother in arms, and patriots. I didnt mean to attack you or any other democrat on the board personally by exposing this story. I simply wanted to show that the democrats aren't above reproach on the matter. It's an ugly partisan election this year. Please, pickle, I have come to admire and respect you.. There's no need to get mad at me. If I had said YOU were running around the streets of SF handing out crack for democrat registration cards then that would be different... and probably make me Varus as well..

Dude, your fence-sitting gets on my damn nerves.

Of course, it's a bi-partisan issue...my fucking link said as much.

But the way you presented it was fairly one sided...

I know you're young and you think this sh
it is a joke, but come on, man...how can you sit there with your thumb in your ***...saying...

"Umm....both sides are bad..."

OF COURSE, THEY FUCKING ARE...they're politicians. AND YES, our system kinda sucks....

But...get off the fu
cking fence...pick a team and go with it....for fuck's sake.

It is not true in other states..like here in CA...

It's for primary stuff.

I've already said I was voting for Kerry, but it's a "protest vote"

The view from the fence is quite fine, if you can suffer a splinter or two.

How old are you, man?

If you're waiting on a party that's going to believe everything you believe, you're going to be waiting a helluva long time.

You see, you pick the candidate party that is going to allow you to do the things you want/need to do or at least most of them....

You think that there has actually been a Presidential Candidate that I REALLY REALLY have a lot in common with?

FUCK NO!!!

Grow up.

What the heck is going on?

I'm putting a 4-day ban on all political posts, effective immediately.

I'm 23 and you had better believe that if Reagan, Jefferson, Eisenhower, Lincoln, or John F Kennedy were running this year I would not be on the fence. I would be in the trenches.
