More desparation from Kerry CampaignFollow

#1 Oct 28 2004 at 5:30 AM Rating: Decent
The NY Times broke a story about some 350 tons of ordinance missing from an ammo dump at Al Qaqaa, Iraq. The story blames the Bush Administration. Well, Kerry went off half-cocked before the story could play out and blamed Bush. A typical knee-jerk reaction from a man with out a clear message or core principals. Grasping each day on some new thing.
The Washington Post ran a story that implicates the Russians and that that explosives were gone before we even got there. Baghdad fell on April 9th. The Explosives were long gone by then. Noticed missing by the Internationan Energy organization as missing on April 10th. Another reason why Kerry is unfit to be president.

We were kind of busy on April 9th and 10th you idiots.

It would have taken a ******** of trucks to move 700,000 pounds of that **** and could not have possibly happened in the space of one day since American troops were all over that area during the day after Baghdad falling and the International agency discovering the stuff was gone. Pathetic.

Another "October Suprise" Just like in 2000' the Thursday before the election, Gore released a ******** story about a drunk driving episide by Bush decades before. He admits he used to be a drunk. Get over it you losers.

Yea at this point in the election both party leader will be grasping at straws, and pulling out all of the dirty lil secrets they have been storing up.

I believe we would be better off with; the House being Democratic, the Senate being Republican, and the President being Independent, That way they couldn't ***** up the government any more than it is now.

Yeah, well I think its unpresidential (and therefore completely typical) of Bush to go after Kerry about "making wild charges without knowing the facts"

- Uh, what about the Iraq war? There's a situation where Bush absolutely "didn't know the facts and made wild charges" but, in his case, "making wild charges without knowing the facts" killed over 26K people, overstretched our armed forces, bankrupted our economy, disenfranchised ourselves from the rest of the world powers...and wound up loosing 300+ tons of high powered explosives in a region of the world that is full of terrorists that want to wipe us out.

Which is worse?

Of course Kerry mentioned it - its a reflection of how Bush is handling the war "every step of the way" and is a reasonable campaign issue. Those missing explosives absolutely make our country and the Iraq campaign less secure.

Desperate? No. Evidence of a good and responsible leader? yes. In fact, I'd say the Bush campaign are the desperate ones - they cant even face an issue like this, so they attack Kerry (as ususal). Its hilarious, Bush was killing brain cells while Kerry was killing vietcong, but yet Bush thinks he can attack Kerry at every step of the way. And even here, on an important issue we get nothing but "more of the same" rhetoric and attacks from the president, not answers and leadership. Don't worry about those explosives though - just duct tape your windows.

A few more days and he's gone.

Statements like these are precisely why Kerry is going to be another mondale and dukakis rolled into one. People that actually work and have the capacity to reason see beyond the bs rhetoric espoused by the self-proclaimed liberal inteligentsia.
