Ok folks I live here in New Jersey and a lot of people are realy intensense about the upcoming election, so on that note do you think that if Bush wins again (espically with the Florida Ordeal already under way) that there will be riots?? Maybe even an attempt on his(Bush's)life??

I could see protests, and maybe riots in some areas, but not an attempted assassination, but thats just me. Right now there alot of emotions running high in this election, and either candidate winning will not be taken lightly.

Edit*I cans speel guud!

I have a feeling if the election is as close as it was last time, no matter who wins there's going to be hell to pay. I wouldnt be surprised if the lawyers and judgescome out full force if anything like last time happens again. If it comes to that, you can expect some crazy **** to happen Im sure.

I'm deeply stunned that Smash or Totem hasn't stepped in yet. Oh well I did have one very unbalanced from tell me that if Bush takes office again he would personaly go to Washington and try to kill him. Than again this guy has never even seen a real gun more or less handled one, so I don't see it as a immidate danger.

It's not going to be close. Either Bush will win Florida and Ohio and it'll be over, or Kerry will close it out.

Either way it's not going to be anything resembling 2000. Move the fuck on, children. Because something extrodinarily unlikely happens once in your lifetime doesn't mean it's somehow more likely to happen again because you're aware of the possability.

I can only hope your right, but you do realize that Florida has already had problems with the election process for this year. They had the computers go down twice already. It just seems a little seedy to me where the only state that Bush has a relative(in power) in is the state that has the major vote counting promblem.? No, maybe its just me??

It's just you.

The press wants to hype the possibility as much as they can, because it gets them ratings.

If an astaroid had a 1/10000000 chance of hitting Earth they'd be going through disaster scenarios for months.

Fear sells, an orderly election is boring.

I have been looting for an excuse to do a little looting though.

Should Bush win, I may be temped to take home a box of pens from the supply closet. You know.. in the name of civil unrest and stuff.

Your probaly correct. I'm just very intrested in how it will all turn out. I've never voted before this year (deep hatred for the "system") but I figured if I'm gonna have a stand to bitch on than I should at least have voted. So until Nov. 2 I realy can't say anything bad because I haven't been part of the process yet.

I was going to work a Jodie Foster-"I wonder if [actress] would be impressed" joke into the thread but didn't feel like reading the "OMG now the FBI is gonna get you!" responses.
