My Correspondence With TotemFollow

A transcript of the correspondance between me and Totem in working out a bet on the upcoming election:

Bhodi:So avatars 1 month, if Kerry wins I pick yours, if Bush wins I pick yours, and if you want; if it is a tie or one wins electoral and the other wins popular we both pick each others.

Of course hopefully we wont have to wait a month or two for the winner to be declared by the Supreme Court.

Anyways send a reply and if you feel the need to hash anything else out.

Totem:Haha, what is this, tails I win, heads you lose? What's with this "if Kerry wins I pick yours, if Bush wins I pick yours" stuff? I get it now, this is your version of ballot box stuffing!

No dice! I demand better terms.

Bhodi:Chicken....BEEERRRKKAAAAWWWWKKKK!!!!!

Kerry I win, Bush you win.

If not I will have to emulate Republican Senator Zell Miller and challenge you to a duel!!

Totem:Ok, that's a little more fair. Done and done.

Bhodi:Its on then, Its awesome cause either way you lose.

If Kerry wins you have to live with an avatar of my choice for 1 month.

If Bush wins you have to live under one of the most abysmal leaders in the history of the United States.

Totem:Lol, you have no idea how cruel I can be to those I love. The avatard I give you will be excruciatingly, seriously, and painfully funny.

Bhodi:I was going to post a transcript of the messages back and forth on the Asylum, it will undoubtly up your name count and will build up my loss even more so, that Okay with you?

Totem:A terrible breach of ethics and courtesy, but lol, I like it. Go for it.

And that is that, I like the part at the end when I play upon his tremendous ego in order to gain permission to post this. Anyways its out there and I am willing to be humbled, I guess we will find out who wins on November 2nd or after the weeks on ensuing court battles by both Kerry and Bush as to who actually won.

ahhh you see Proof is my own personal troll, I stay at default filter that way I dont have to read his ramblings but since you quoted him I now have an Idea what he is saying.

I said it before and I will say it again I believe I deserve a much more creative and inventive troll than the pitiful attempt that Proof is making.

Well at least I can see your posts Lubriderm, that puts you above Proof.

Im going to rip off some past posts I had on the subject.

The Buddha said many times that he taught one thing and one thing only, pain and its ending. All methods are shown through observable facts of existance not through metaphysical theories or articles of faith. The point is not to believe in their validity but to see the validity as they unfold in our daily lives.

You achieve this through the 4 noble truths and eightfold path. You can look those up on google if you wish. Basically its understanding pain, the sources of pain, the way eliminate those sources and then apply those to every day life.

There are no Gods or creation stories or the usual things like that, it is influenced by Hinduism for obvious reasons, Taoism and Buddhism merged in China and Japan and formed branches of Buddhism like Zen etc. (The Tao te Ching is amazing). There are many branches of Buddhism that have many different takes on the teachings but the basics are there.

What the fu[i][/i]ck is an "xonversation" supposed to be?
