Wow, imagine that, the US Govenor General of Afganistan won the free election admist rampant accusations of fraud.

What? the election in Afghanistan didnt end the violence or secure the legitimacy of the government that was hand picked by the United States?

Well I am sure that it will work in Iraq.....right?


You think by now people would understand that the United States only recognizes freely elected officials who share there views Chile and Salvador Allende found that out the hard way, and Ortega and the Sandanistas in Nicaragua also

Varus always reminded me of Crazy Harry. Except instead of showing up when someone mentions bomb or explosion and causing an explosion Varus shows up and causes a flame war or at least attempts to.
