The Dems are screaming because of the Sinclair documentary that came out tonight in key battleground states. While only a portion of it was broadcast, it was enought to have the liberals all in a froth about it being an unfair expose' on Kerry. The funny thing is, I don't recall hearing any of this whimpering and whining when Moore came out with his "documentary."

Anyways, I haven't see any of the Sinclair piece, but since I just found out that Mark Hyman, a well versed politically conservative commentator had a large hand in making it, I am going to say it likely has traction and substance behind it.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander, right? Let's not be denigrating the documentary before you have seen it, children.

Confession time. I watched F9/11 tonight-- heheh, a bootleg copy, take that, Michael Moore! You'll get no money from me --and was surprised at how boring it was. I expected to see something a bit more gripping, a lot more damning, but was treated to a voice-over that made me get drowsy and video editting which was disjointed at the very least.

It came across as the documentary equivilent of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, where to try to tie someone to someone else by the most convoluted logic imaginable. In truth, I was disappointed in just how unwatchably dull it was after hearing such wonderful things about it.

I expect the Sinclair film will be a better show, if for no other reason that it won't ramble and drone on and on and on like F9/11.

Moore didn't get a prime time comercial free airing ( I assume they still did that).

I love it when both sides use a shady tactic, then one side calls the other side a hypocrite for using/decrying the tactic that they had previously decried/used.

I mean, it's an equally valid observation that the right, who decried a left biased documentary aren't complaining at all about a right biased documentary.

One thing is clear however-- Moore is a kiddie **** lover and hates the military. He lovingly keeps the camera on a little boys naked crotch before he moves it over to his blown up arm. He also rags on the military for about half an hour.

That speaks for itself.

As for your observation, Taber, I can see your point, but it's rather funny that the Dems are squawking now that a counterpoint is out.

I also find it hilarious he goes to a senator with a young Marine by his side and asks why the senator doesn't send his own son, as if the son were a slave or had no control over over his own life and decisions. Apparently, in Moore's world fathers can send their own children off without their consent.

It seems to me, that if Moore had his way, the world would be much more restrictive than anything we have with the Patriot Act, when fathers could focibly send their children into military service without the child's say-so.

At any rate, that movie was teh sux. It was boring, self indulgent, long, had a non-sequitorial plotline and droning narrative voice-over, and had Fat ******* showing up throughout the movie, but without any good d1ck and fart jokes.

Good thing it was a ripped movie. I saved $8 to spend on the economy elsewhere.

idk, the movie had some valid points, mixed in with alot of one sided points. I've seen both farienhiet 9/11 and the hype911 movie, and the hype movie to me seemed to be full of more BS than moore's movie. I respect Moore's movie for showing the Rice/Powell pre-9/11 admitting that Iraq was not a threat to us and we were able to keep WMDs from Saddam. That was in Feb 2001. Things suddenly changed and Saddam suddenly had WMDs after 9/11, after we decided to take the word of a convicted credit card felon over our own inteligence. lol, I never believed Iraq had WMDs from day one. Why? Cause I remember things I watch on the news, and I remember watching Rice/Powell talk about Iraq prior to 9/11. I remember watching CNN when they discussed and showed the Bin Laden family being allowed to leave USA in airplanes days after 9/11 when no one else was allowed to travel by airplane. I know these things as being true. The hype movie says it isnt true. The hype movie is wrong. I know what I have seen, and I haven't been brainwashed, force feed, or told to think a certain way under the influence of mind altering drugs. I just remember what makes me ill, and the Bin Laden family being allowed to leave the US made me ill and confused after 9/11. Moore had a point about this subject. You know he did, hopefully you are open minded enough to see he had some valid points through all the other BS. This movie didnt sell as much as it did without something worthwhile in it.

There is no shame, on either side of the fence. And that sucks. Just a bunch of finger pointing and ignorance on both sides. Yes, I said both sides. Time for people to admit they are not perfect and own up to mistakes made.

People need to lighten up, open up, and see things from all sides instead of limiting yourself on one viewpoint. Life is bigger than a one sided die. Watch C-Span, it's the real channel that is fair and balenced,.. live life like it never changed, and try to change your life if you don't like it. All this hatred over things you have no control over is pure BS. The only thing you can really do to change things is vote. All the flaming and hatred can be reserved for a real time and place, and purpose. Typing words on the internet really only influences yourself, cause people are gonna be who they gonna be, regardless of what you or I say about it.

idk, call me crazy, or whatever, but I cant remember a time in my life where the country has been this devided about everything. It sucks to see all the hate and not a soul doing anything about it to make it better. They only seem to know how to make it worse. Thats the real fact today.

***** all the political movies, yes I said ALL the political movies. Your a mindless ******** anyway if you allow tv to tell you how to think/feel about issues that may/may not effect you.

Moore's movie had some valid points, so did the hype movie, so did ghostbusters II, but I still know what I know, and will vote how I vote, regardless of what media might be out there to influence me or not.

Despite the fact that Michael Moore encouraged people to watch the movie any way that they could, even if it meant downloading it without paying? Doesn't really seem like he cares, guy.

btw, I don't blame this dude for downloading something he didnt want to watch anyway. Why pay for it if you already dont approve of it? I downloaded alot of metalica mp3s after they did the whole "down with Napster" thing. Call me a rebel, whatever. btw, I hate metalica now and refuse to pay for anything they produce ever again. It my choice, and choice is good, even if it's illegal.

*edit* yes, Moore approved of people downloading his movie after it hit theatres. You're not really doing something Moore would disapprove of. You watched it, and that's what he wanted. You didn't "one up" him one bit dude,...

He did, actually, at one point - someone upstate (Binghamton?) played F9/11 on a local broadcast channel, no commercials or editing.
