Interesting read on BushFollow

My view of Bush is that he makes me uncomfortable, I consider him dangerous, and I think he has made some bad decisions that I think are likely to have the opposite effect to that intended. As an example, I believe that the war on terror makes "The West" more unsafe.

So I am reading this, and I am finding it very intelligently written. I think it should be compulsary reading for anyone who doesn't understand what sort of genuine reasons there might by for terrorists to hate the USA

the problem is not Bush.

honestly, i think he is a decent man. the problem is he is an intelectual MORON, and is being used by a group of people who pushed him to the top out of some misguided sense of loyalty.

the only thing any president, or eny of us for that matter, should be loyal to is the United States of America. not the republican party. not the democratic party.

we used to stand for integrity. but the whole world was watching when we tried to hood wink the U.N. unto sanctioning going into Iraq. and now the whole world is watching as the evidence clearly shows it was a dog and ponie show without substance.

all americans were watching when the President announced plans to transform the SS system, and declared the surplus put aside for SS was not necessary, and subsinquintly pillaged it. now all americans are watching BOTH sides, including the nations top economist, alan greenspan, say the SS system is going to fail because of a lack of funding. shouldnt the SS system have been reformed BEFORE the surplus was squandered? or was there really any plans to transform it, and any illuding to transformation was another hood wink to pilage a 1.4 trillion dollar cash cow? you decide.

we used to stand for honor. but the whole world was watching when the president boldly announced the past word of an american president is only as good as he is in office, and backed out of the kyoto enviromental treaty, and told russia it was no longer convienent for us to honor our nuclear arms treaty with them. think ANYONE will ever trust signing a treaty with us EVER again?

i do not think the president is a bad man, i think he is being loyal to the wrong group of people as opposed to the United States of America.

the harm to our immage alone throughout the world this addministraition has caused will take decades to undo. and it was done in a meeger 4 years. 4 years. thats all it takes to destroy the honor and integrity it took two hundred years to build in this country.

TREASON APPLIES.

I'll read this book as soon as you read Shadow Wars and Unfit for Command

I find it odd that you equate an accurate shcolorly text with two books of fiction.

Oh wait, I don't find it odd. Never mind.

This the kind of bipartisan scholarly opinion you're referring to?

Yes. What's inaccurate about it, exactly?

Oh wait, I see. You're bothered because it's not politically correct.

Typical. The truth is less importnat to you than being PC. I know your type. You probably say wombman too.

And Unfit for Command is an actual depiction of Kerrys service regardless of how you liberals try to spin it.

Of course it isn't. It's been proven to be ridden with so many falsehoods, it can't be considered anything but an amusing work of fiction.

It's a funny read though. You should be able to pick it up in the bargin bin at your local bookstore for $2. I was able to. Not selling so well, apparently.

Well we won't be getting the book from Barnes and Nobles because they don't carry views that differ from their own, again those all inclusive and understanding liberals open to all sorts of views.

Do you ever get tired of being wrong?

This thread is closed due to Pickle's Law*.

*The law stating that anyone who uses the term "liberal media" or intimates it in a thread that is talking about something ANY RATIONAL person would say is honest automatically makes Pickle the winner of that argument.
