Ah. Yes, apparently he missed the discussion awhile back were we all spoke about how we DONT WATCH TV let alone waste the money on cable. Any news I want or need is sure to be on CNN.com or any of those other sites. Im a computer nerd and TV is a waste of time.

Can't afford cable, eh?

Thank god the Bush economy keeps rolling right along for you. Make sure to vote for him twice.

I'm so glad you think everyone from the South is poor. It makes you look so witty and smart. Good thing one of us is Kerry's lap dog and would fall for anything the war "hero" spits out.

And while we are on the subject why do woman need to smell like a fruit market? That sh*t gives me a headache I would rather just smell the woman* sans B.O.

i dont use any fruity/smelly products.
that body shoppe crap gives me a headache, too.

i would rather just smell like a woman, sans B.O...though i admit a little healthy sweat is kinda sexy.

mr. nursie just uses anything that's within reach in the shower...but i doubt he would experiment with anything in the toilet.

Nah, just you.

You're the one who can't afford cable. It's not like I'm making it up.

I use Head & Shoulders 2in1 for my hair.. The 1 gallon bottles you know.

And Axe for the rest... Snake Peel is cool. Small sand grains or something in the gel.. It's supposed to peel off the dead skin, but I tell ya, it sucks when you got a sunburn.

Well, I guess I'm the only one who will admit to buying good conditioner.

I use Herbal Essence for fine hair, but I go for Prive for conditioner. Too bad Sally's doesn't carry a re-engineered version of that because it's like 22 bucks. It does last for like 5 months though.

What do you people spend on haircuts?

I go to a girl that comes up from LA on the weekends that does movie hair. She gives the whole Aveda thing for 50 bucks.

[Yeah, go ahead and fix it ;)]

That's cause you're one o' them thar long-hairs PP.

I used to use whatever was on sale. Then I moved to some stuff that Cost-Cutters sold that was supposed to be good for men loosing their hair. Then, after I got over the stage of denial I was in, I said ***** it and shaved it all off.

Before the Kojak look, I spent about $13 or so on haircuts. Now I just shave it myself.

I'll spend maybe $40, but I usually only get a cut every 2 years or so.

But, I keep wondering, how much do you tip for a haircut?
#44 Oct 13 2004 at 5:38 PM Rating: Decent
For a 40 dollar haircut?

10 bucks...
#45 Oct 13 2004 at 6:06 PM Rating: Decent
There's a fixed price on my head... Or should I say, my hair.

I pay exactly 245 Danish crowns for a haircut which is 40.4 USD.

This board is very refreshing. I'll have to stop by here more often, don't worry, I won't reveal your secret hideout ;)

I prefer Herbal Essence, I never believed in spending so much money on those fancy shampoos and conditioners.
#47 Oct 13 2004 at 7:52 PM Rating: Good
I don't care too much about my shampoo, usually Suave or whatever else is cheap and doesn't smell too strongly.

Haircuts are $12 (too high, but so is everything else) with a $2 tip for a total of $15. I always tip because it's kind of hard to ***** up, 'Put the #1 guard on the clippers and do the sides. Then leave the top slightly longer than that.'

I haven't had anyone ***** it up yet, anyway. Not that it'd matter much. We'd just keep taking more off until it got even or down to the skin.

I spend $12 (plus tip) at the local Great Clips: the Russian roulette of haircuts. Five times out of six it's fine but that sixth time... well, at least hair grows back and it's hard to seriously ***** up my simple do.

I've been hard-pressed to find a good place to get a hair cut down here on campus, but when I go home, I go to a barber. He's a very funny person, he does a great job, and he even offers me beer and Playboy while I wait!

It costs $17, but I haven't found any other place that cuts my hair as good as he does.

There's a place on Green St. Dave & Gene's I think it's called. It's a barber shop, not a hair salon. They have a pool table for while you wait, and will talk Illini football. Last I was there, it was $17. As for the quality of the haircuts, I couldn't really tell...I only got about 2 from there.

I use head and shoulders shampoo, medium bottle lasts about 4 or so months.

For a regular work day I use some cheap old spice body wash and body spray/deodorant.

I have not used any stuff a g/f might have had, as some of those scents give me a headache.
