I just linked it to go along with the topic at hand. At this point, it just doesn't matter anymore. Just wanted to prove the point that the karma system is beyond pointless.
The idea is "self moderation." Basically, less stress on the admins.
Yup...that was a good idea. You can just see how well it works.

All I know is I switched to "default" filter and have been happily Varrus free since then. I'm sure there are other trolls I miss as well, though their insignificance exceeds their uselessness, for I've forgotten/never learned their names.

The karma system works well, it provides the opportunity to self moderate on a FREE forum. Moderators cost money, and the more you admis you need, the more advertsising you need. Eventually you have to fund the site!
Illia's system has some holes, but I challenge someone to come up with a better system! Alla knows what they are doing!
