Why the hostility?

I suppose I should have expected as much, posting in the Asylum. I won't make that mistake again.

What mistake is that, Plex? Posting in the Asylum or making a thread that says "discuss!"? This is not a nicey-nicey place where we stump break the no0bs in to gently teach them to accept our prodigious post count engorged members, but a mean, viscious, nasty, dog-eat-dog forum where most of us keep our knives sharp and handy. And had you laid low and watched for a while, you'd know intuitively that asking us to perform like Pavlov's dogs by demanding we "discuss" something on command is begging for a gang-reaming.

So grab your sack, man up, and put those hurt feelings away. We just don't care. No, we actually care, but only in the sense we made you run home crying.

Was there anything else you'd like for us to discuss? Hmmm?

Interestingly, the comments here on the forum were 'too much dialogue' (Which I accept), and my publisher's advice is 'Good plot, but this is a screenplay rather than a narrative') so I've turned down the advance as a book.

We'll see.
