Did Bush pretty much just say he feels he hasn't made a mistake in office?

He can't admit to a mistake, he's a Republican. You see the same behaviour here every day practiced by Gbaji, Totem, Stok, etc.

Why does it have to be a republican. I say anyone who holds to a party ideology is a fathead. My government works for me. I'm noones fanboy... Regardless of the animal next to your name

Kerry really should be getting on bush's case for vetoing the 87 billion before passing it.

Because part of the Democratic ideology is being able to admit and learn from prior mistakes.

Anyone who doesn't ahve a clear political philosophy by the time they're old enough to vote probably shouldn't be allowed to drive or operate heavy machinery.

Wow, This debate was 1000 times better than the last one on both sides. But I feel Kerry won this one by a landslide.

Kerry slammed Bush so bad... I mean, seriously, Kerry is probably getting a lot of votes after tonight. The polls next week should be interesting.

Can someone explain the "battling green eyeshades" thing to me? I'm reading on other forums that its some accounting joke but no one elaborates.

I loved when Bush said "Billiona dollars".

Money counters and accountants in the first part of the 20th century used to wear green tinted visors while working.

IT's a refrence to that. IT would mean disagreeing economists basically.

It's a silly and arcane thing for him to say though, unless he's talking to people who graduated Yale the same year he did.

The only thing that still bothers me, as I try to make my decission is the troops. In all the polls I have seen, and all the interviews with active military personal they support Bush. I just have to wonder how they will fare under a new president, especially since they are for President Bush.
My fiance is in Iraq, and he goes ballistic when he hears that I am trying to decide. For him their is no decission to make.
