FFXI Atlas release date changed!!Follow

#1 Oct 08 2004 at 9:50 AM Rating: Excellent
Just like everything else today, this is screwed up too. Smack me now for being on the wrong forum, it has been a hell of a day here already!
I am now the proud owner of 15 stitches in my leg courtesy of the neighbors dog. Now they are upset with me that the ER doctor called animal control. The damm dog bit me, I didn't bite the damm dog! Although I am very tempted. Just wait till I send them the ER bill!

I looked today for the order status on ebgames.com, fully expecting to see it was shipped. Lo and behold, the new release date is now 11/29/04. I can't believe it, well yes I can. I want those new maps!!

How can a book that was to be released in only 7 days now not be printed and complete, someone was fibbing!

Uh ohhhhhhhhhh. Someone posted in the wrong forum.

LOL Yes I did, dammit. I am still upset about being attacked by the dog upstairs!
#5 Oct 08 2004 at 9:57 AM Rating: Good
How exactly did the dog come to attack you and why is it still breathing?

You could try to make friends with it. Give it something sweet, a cup of ethylene glycol ought to do the trick.

I opened my front door to go to the garbage, and in the mutt ran. It instantly went after my scottie, and when I hit it with the broom it attacked me. The only reason it is still alive is the owners grabbed him before I got the baseball bat.
It won't be a long term thing, he will be put down. Animal control says it has been the second issue with this dog. Now the ********, can't find his shot records! IF those ******* haven't kept his shots up, I am going to blow.

And BTW my FFXI Atlas is delayed!!

I have a strong dislike for people who fail to properly take care of their animals.

While I have pity for the dog who will be put down, it's entirely the owner's fault.

Here's a wonderful idea:

Everyone should have to prove they can raise a well behaved dog before they are allowed to have children.

Either that, or we could just put the kids down once we realize that they are going to grow up to be little assholes.

Yes, I did have a hawk hit my window. He, I sent to raptor's rescue. They said that the development going on next door must have destroyed his nest, or something. The dog belongs to the old lady's kids upstairs. She is living here while her house is being remodeled. She can't control her kids, so why would she control the dog.
It's hard to feel sorry for the damm dog when my leg hurts! The sobbing kids though, are making me feel bad.

I hate all shows that have people with the camera in front of them all rushing around. Hospital shows are notoriously bad for this.

MadTV did a great spoof on the West Wing that demonstrated how freaking annoying (AND completely unrealistic) this "rush-cam" crap is.

It's the Great Pumpkin! Ahhhhh!

I knew that this year I'd be able to catch sight of my hero as he rises from the most sincere pumpkin patch around to fly through the air with his bag of toys for all the children.

Hey way to have any idea of real world situations, the other half of that comment was give him a cup of ethylene glycol, which is Anti-Freeze. It has a sweet candy flavor to it but it's extremely toxic. Use a whole quote next time. You might get your facts straight, instead of grabbing for straws to jab at liberals.

I guess the innocent Smiley: rolleyes wasn't enough, huh? Jeez, every time a pubbie mentions the word "liberal" you lefties come out in a huff.

And come to think of it, who the fuck are you?!

It'd actually be easy to kill a dog with either chocolate (which everyone knows) or grapes/raisins.

Evidently, grapes and raisins are more toxic to dogs than chocolate, it really messes them up.

But the dog will probably be put down anyway, so no need to call sun-maid.

It's too bad, though, if you were foaming at the mouth, people would just think you were rabid when you were shaving that upper lip. Smiley: wink2

Just kidding, hope you're ok.

LOL I am getting over it, just scared the **** out of me. My leg is sore but I will live. Antibiotics and some tylenol. I may change my mind though, when the local anesthesia wears off.
