my wisdom teeth, T + 56 hours (or some dumb **** like tat)

the day the teeth were out, it was fine. i took a fair amount of vicodin, plus the novacaine was in full effect most of the day.

yesterday it was fine. very little swelling, still on mucho vicodin. i acquired some medicinal marijuana and used it liberally. at the end of the day the swelling began to get pretty huge. i proceeded to go to a rock and roll concert all drugged up with friends anyways. prior to that i binged on eggs rolls at a friends house (his dad made us like 4 different kinds). i feel sick because of them.

what the hell can i do. my parents kind of noticed i've been taking too much vicodin so they are limiting me to 4 a day (plus whatever i can sneak) and however much tylenol i want (tylenol is what i *shouldnt* be taking, i need more opiate, not acetominaphen). my marijuana just aint doing its job.

it hurts soooo bad help me help me help me. what can i do?

im literally so drugged up i cant stay awake long enough to **********, but it still hurts. and im sick to my stomach.

need...home...remedies...now...help...please

Smoking after oral surgury promotes dry socket. Have fun with that.

Have your parents get you some ambesol. Its a mild oral anesetic. Rub some on your gums every 20 minutes and it should help.

You did about every no-no that dentists tell people about when getting wisdom teeth pulled.

Reap what you sowed.

Your gums are most likely infected from the **** you ate and like Jophiel said smoking is gonna make you hurt. Rinse them with some Hydrogen Peroxide(I know the bottle says dont but just dont swallow.)

i dont have dry socket because i smoked through my nose.

i also waited like a day to smoke even through my nose.

i aint so bad now. i just woke up without any of that opiate goodness to make the pain go away. i think its starting to kick in. heh.

but yeah, oral home remedies are needed.

plus, it is their fault. i said "hey, can i get some oxycontin" and they are like "hehehe... no. here is vicodin ES". and maybe i have some sort of natural opiate tolerance, but it doesnt do much for me in prescribed doses.

You can get dry socket regardless.

Or, and I'm leaning towards this one, it could be the same pain everyone feels after oral surgery except you're being a whiney pussy about it.

DO you have a high metabolism? I used to be big into pharmicals, hell who am I kidding I still am, I have an insanely high metabolism and it takes 3 10/100apap Hydrocodones to even get me buzzing. Vicodin dont do ****.

i wish my hydrocodone only had 100apap in it. mine have 750 apap. if i had 100 i probably would have taken waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more.

I got 6 wisdom teeth pulled at once a couple of years ago. My head swelled up like a melon and it hurt like a ***** for well over a month.

Smoking through the nose DOES avoid the dread "dry socket" though....especially if it's just the small amount of smoking one does when using pot.

You mean 7.5/100 or are you saying they are 10/750?

isnt dry socket just caused by the suction created when smoking, not the actual smoke itself? i mean im sure smoke irritates your gums, but if you are just inhaling (deeply) from a pipe and not creating any more suction than you normally would while breathing then whats the problem.

That's just stupid. I had SIX! taken out....that wasn't an option.

Kids, take the drugs during surgery....just do it.

I had an exctraction done after smoking some herb.

it sucked. It made me more mentally aware of everything, I could picture the nerves and bones and gums being ripped from my skull quite perfectly. Never again.

as a side note... $50 dollars was the cost of nitrous. I'd rather spend $15 on a bottle of Jack to guzzle before I went in.

Any time you inhale deeply, even through your nose, is causes vaccuum in your mouth. Try slightly puffing your cheeks and inhaling fully through your nose. Feel your cheeks go down? You can consciously stop part of it but I doubt you were making that effort while smoking.

What are the chances that anything associated with weed could ever be bad?

0%, just ask any stoner. If you can get them to pay attetnion long enough to hear the question.

Hippo's right. There are only 4 wisdom teeth. But, judging from the forum, perhaps you did get 6 wisdom teeth removed.
