The family of a Georgia fifth-grader found bones of a child under the floor of their home and the child believes the bones belong to her imaginary friend.

Stephanie Ogden said a friendly black girl in a white dress began visiting her room about five years ago.

"She told me that somebody put her in the floor," Ogden said. "She said he had a mask on, and that he chopped her up. She didn't know who the person was, because he had a mask on."

Marion Stewart, Ogden's great-grandmother, said her great-granddaughter used to tell her family about the friend, but the adults always dismissed the stories as being the product of a child's imagination.

Last weekend, while the family was remodeling, they discovered the bones of a child under the floor of the trailer covered with insulation and duct tape, the Columbus (Ga.) Ledger-Enquirer reported Tuesday.

"I'm not a psychic, and I don't believe in some of that stuff," Stewart said. "But I believe this is a soul who has not been put to rest."

Silly, but weird ghost story...

Well, let's see: how many little girls living in trailers have imaginary friends who tell them stories of abuse by a man?

85%? 99.9%?

Ah, c'mon, the ghost is in a white dress?

That just screams made up, even if ghosts existed.

Further, the story never states that the little girl told the family the bones were there before they were actually found. It only states that she told them about her imaginary friend and they ignored it.

It's bunk that she saw a ghost because it never happened.

I'll bet that within a month or so, they track it down to the current or former owner of the trailer, or more likely, a worker at the place where it was constructed.

Dunno where you got that I don't think black people have sould, btw. That has to be some of the most racist **** I've heard in a long time. You sure you're not in the Klan? I haven't heard anything that blatant in a while, Schilinger.

What about that was racist? Shes a 5 year old for crying out loud. Most small children go threw the imaginary friend stage. Some even make up imaginary friends that are animals! Does that make them animalist( is this even a word?)? Did you ever have an imagination or have you always had a stick up your ***? Just because her make believe friend was of a different ethinticity does not make this little girl or her family racist. You know its going to be really creapy if the girl was wearing a white dress.Kids are creepy like that, they always seem to pick up on things they shouldnt.

Note the :P

I was joking Tstephens. We all dig that the story was bunk, and we could see your argument for why the story was bunk a mile off so i wrote something crazy to throw people for a loop.

It is the Asylum afterall. Plus I have to make at least one inflammatory statement per day.

Struck indeed Tare

Please note that I responded both enthusiastically and with a little, but not much venom.

Too bad more people don't know how to stir things up in an interesting manner.

You can only call someone an asshat so many times before it gets old. But call a redneck a racist.....now that's entertainment!
