I dont think anyone can quote a jobs lost figure without quoting a jobs gained figure. Our Economy is very fluid. The only way to draw judgement on job performance figures is to see the difference between the two. Otherwise it's simply spin.. That goes for both sides.

Net jobs is most accurate. Our net jobs is in the negative. The jobs that were gained pay less than the ones that were lost. No spin there.

The 'weren't there' argument is getting old already. I really hope cheney doesn't do his parrot imitation like GWB.

Indeed, thank you for being honest about that point though. On another note.. Government never has, and hopefully never will have any control over how much a job pays someone. I'm sorry that highschool dropouts arent getting paid 20 an hour to tack on bumpers to trucks anymore. This is the very heart of workforce re-education initiatives.

Eek. Edwards got bamboozled on the gay marriage point. He's not exactly appealing to his voting base here.

I think Edwards handled that question excellently. I respect him a lot for being able to clear the air on that. He sounds like he advocates unions. Not a bad answer to a crazy question.

You do understand that Edwards could say "I hate fucking ************* and they don't loose any gay votes, right?

Cheney: I'm not fammliar with his (Edwards legal) cases.

Golly I wonder if he'll attack him for being a trial lawyer at any future point in the campaign.

Oh, absolutely. But I do find it ironic that they Kerry campaign racks Bush for his proposed amendment to the Constitution (which I think is just stupid), then Edwards goes on to say, "Well, it really doesn't matter."

I'm giving it 55/45 Cheney right now. Edwards has some good points but Cheney is providing enough damning numbers to make Edwards look bad regardless. I don't know how valid they all are but few people are going to research them anyway.

Ya i say its about even right now. Nothing spactacular. Cheney is a good debater. Now only if GWB could be that good then the GOP would stand a chance in these debates.
