Ok, I've always been a fan of ancient Greek history. I know there's a few other history buffs out there... who else is afraid that this movie is going to turn out like Troy?
I'd rather not see Alexander become another over-dramatized girlyman.

I reread Alexander of Macedon by Peter Green a couple of weeks ago and there is no way in hell hollywood can make Alexanders life fit a two hour movie. It would also be to complicated for the average mush brained movie goer to follow although I understand they are going spand a quarter of the movie focusing on his relationship with Bagoas, as if somehow his relationship with a eunuch took up a quarter of Alexanders life. Typical hollywood.
If you want a girly-man depiction of Alexander, watch that anime "Reign." They used to show it on Cartoon Network. Buncha guys runnin' around with no pants.
They never really make a biography anyway -- it's just a famous or historical person in a regular plot driven movie.
