Alright, this is a post about equality. What I want to know is- why does everyone want equality? No favorites and no one is considered of menial exsistence, just everyone is a big happy family. Why does anyone want that? Thats equality to me, why would anyone wanna live like theyre part of the movie sleeper? I really see that as what liberals are pushing for, so- since I've been considered a dumb ***, tell me, whats so great about equality? Is it how everyone conforms? Or is it that nothing is offensive and you can live in an almost prefabricated world with out a changing standard? It seems to me that is what real equality is, and what all this P.C. bull **** limits. Am I missing or misinterpreting something, PieMan?

Equality of treatment and opportunity you fuc[b][/b]king moron. Not equality of people. As you and I clearly demonstrate certain people will clearly be at the top of the statistical curve in terms of talent and inteligence.

Equality is impossible.
That being said, there's plenty of opportunity in the USA for anyone who's hungry. You can find love, religion, or money. All you have to do is want it badly enough. I'm an advocate of teh 'all things in moderation' viewpoint on life, but that doesn't mean I think it's a bad thing that obsessive people can find so many things to keep them occupied here.
And as the globalization of the economy continues, those same opprtunities are becoming availabe in many other places. Let freedom ring and all that crap.

That's equality. Equality is not getting the same results for different actions, but getting the same results from the same actions. It's sad that as it stands, in America, being above the bar means you're a white male, who's already well paid. If you are a black male, who is already paid, sorry, they will take it from you the first chance they get. You're not that tight.

I don't think affirmative action was the best thing to stop inequality, more of a placeholder until it does happen, though. It was in good intentions, but a bad method. Politically correct? Since when is politics correct?

See, this is why no one gets treated as an equal- **** like that. Afirmative Action is rascist against whites and anyother non black minorities. Discrimination is not really a part of society anymore, theres always gonna be tension, but there are some black people who have been sucssesful. So, first off- Blacks don't deserve, or need AA, and that contradicts equality all together- when the set goal is to promote equality? I fail to see how giving blacks any special benefit your average non-black person does not get? Please cite that little passage and respond pieman.

Well, good point there, but why would Jesus teach us about morals if he didnt want us to preach to others? Thats what I fail to comprehend, btw, thanks for judging me as a hick. Jesus may not of stoned gays, but I don't think he would of thrown a party promoting gay marriage either now would he? Besides, not allowing gay marriages is just not allowing, not saying "We hate you because your gay so you don't deserve rights".
