You don't seriously expect me to go any real effort to register my complaint do you? Come on, mindless b1tching is much easier and faster.

I have google ad blocker. This was some wierd thing that took up 3/4 of the screen telling me I was the 1 millionth visitor. Normally I would just close except it had no window or box. It was just some transparent thing that I could only get rid of by hitting the back button.

EDIT: That came off as awfully whiny didn't it?

try www.avantbrowser.com. annoying 404 error page now, but other than that, good at blocking banners and pop ups, with a customizeable ad blocker. orif you want, i have hosts file that is set to block all known forms of advertisements and replce them with less annoyinh red x's if you want it

It's more of a principal issue to me. I expect that kind of crap from fastcash.com or some such site. Not so much on Allakhazam.

Nah, don't worry about it. I'm reformatting my comp soon and I'm busy enough sorting through all the crap I've collected in almost two years. Making a point not to put anything else of any sort on this thing.

Don't use IE. Get Firefox. No pop-ups and less chance your computer will get fried when you look up your ****. (and you people know you do that)

Pfft, I use the free Yahoo! toolbar popup blocker. Sadly enough, it works like a charm. Even at sites that usually smash you with popups (like, let's say, ****), I get none.
