Depends on whether or not I want my car keyed or her to spew out as much negativity as possible to any other woman willing to listen to her. As a guy, we have to be far more diplomatic when breaking up with a woman than women have to be diplomatic about breaking up with us. Such is the state of things. Women tend to hold grudges a lot longer than men. Also, if she is thirty, she probably puts a lot more weight on her relationships than any guy her age or younger.

As a sensitive silver-tongued cavalier (or a total failure with women; go figure) here are some suggestions.

  • Send a copy of a lonely hearts mag, and attach a Post-It note saying 'Start Looking, Bi[i][/i]tch!'

  • Send her a simple text; "Forget the three-some, just bring that friend"

  • Add her to the Cc: in emails to your other girls

  • Compare her love-making technique to that of her mother, sister, daughter, father and puppy

  • Feign Death

  • Pretend that you don't understand English and communicate only in Vietnamese. (Don't try this if she's Vietnamese. I've never been so embarassed!)

  • Tell her you aren't ready for a long-term relationship, then ask her to remind you what her name is.

  • Explain in laborious detail how you levelled your Dark Elf Necromancer to 57 in just 2 weeks! Keep telling her she is 'teh l33t r0xx0rzzzzz'
