For all of you who have finished--

What did you think of the ending?

What did you think of Susannah leaving? Did you find it to be just a 'deus ex machina' to allow King to both kill off his characters and allow a 'happy' ending?

Wouldn't you have drawn on a couple legs too, when removing the mole?

is one thread not enough for you?

I haven't read this particular book, but King's endings are consistantly weak. I actually don't mind a "walking off into the sunset" ending. Most others that I have talked to concerning King have voiced a dislike of his endings. I think its because they are white people.

Is posting utter crap once not enough for you, Drac? His 2 threads compared to your 2400+ useless posts clearly show that he's not the superfluous one here.

Just keep on refreshing the page Drac, eventually I'll have 50 posts or less and you can feel better by ignoring me.

Shrug. Didn't want to discuss these particular issues with people who hadn't read it and were planning to. Didn't think I'd have to spell that one out.

I wouldn't have minded a 'walk off' ending either. But after 7 books in the series I expected more than an essentially 'oh look he's been dreaming' end.

I'm not sure I agree with you on the King endings, though. Pet Sematary, with the wife coming through the door. The end of Running Man with the plane hitting the building with the pilot giving the director the bird. Some of them have been fun.
