Pardon my old school view on things, but THIS is an argument against premarital sex, and for monogamy. If he was an average joe, he'd be in jail, whether it was rape or not. He'd be wearing a purple band, and getting butt raped by a rather larger inmate...

First of all, douchebag, learn to quote.

Depends on state law, but in almost every state, giving consent prior to the act doesn't take away your ability to change your mind during it. Just because you consented to have oral sex, for instance, doesn't mean you consent to be penetrated. Just because you went to a hotel room with the intention on having sex doesn't mean you can't change your mind. When Bryant said that he now realizes it wasn't consentual for her, he's admitting to raping her.

I believe your quote says he realizes how how she could believe it was not consentual, not that it wasn't consentual. Small point of disconnect, to be sure, however, an important one. If he believed it to be consentual at the time, he proceeded the way anyone would.

If I say to you "squeeze the nut", and you think I mean for you to palm my left ******** and apply pressure, that is you thinking it is consentual. If I actually meant to use your pliers to squeeze the nut so I could tighten the bolt with mine, you would be able to see in hind sight how WAY the f'uck off base you really were.

That was a really funny analogy, but dead on.

It just so happens that I am posting from prison. They let us use the computers as a part of a rehab program that teaches us new technologies and whatnot.

Anyway, I want to address the issue of prison rape.

I have noticed on this forum that prison, as an institution is synonimus with rape, which, in this context is a normal and expected behavior.

Rape in prison is not a normal occurance. It rarely happens. This may be because of all the consentual sex going on, but non the less rarely happens.

I believe that there is a kind of "preoccupation", or fasination with the subject of rape in prison, or, being raped in prison, in this forum any way.

So, ahh, thats just something that I just noticed, so, eh yeah.... you may want to get that checked out.

Re: the above poster

I remember reading somewhere that the fear of prison rape is the single greatest deterrent of crime in America.

Hmmm... let's see...

Multi-millionaire star celebrity basketball player decides to throw away everything he's worked hard for by 'raping' some white trash hoebag, knowing that she can and WILL press charges because it's against the law, risking jailtime and a ban from the NBA...

OR

White trash hoebag working in a hotel knows of Kobe's whereabouts, goes over to **** him for bragging rights, and desperate in an attempt to get money and attention, she claims rape in an attempt to get out of the gutter...

Which is right, I wonder? Pffft. You gotta be ******* kidding me... **** like this has been going on for ages, where some *****'ll claim a celebrity raped her for cash... I wonder if you'd think differently had the 'rapist' been Brad Pitt...

/slaps *********

Wake up already!

P.S. have you even SEEN Kobe's wife!? She's ******* gorgeous!!

OK, I cannot understand what in the hell makes her deserve that label. If all the people that had premarital sex were considered whores and trash, who the hell do you think you would take home to meet mom?

And as for throwing away his life and career. I have seen a lot of people, Men and women do stupid **** in the pursuit of sex.

If I recall correctly, her underwear indicated sperm from three (count them: Von, Too, Thhhhhree!) different men other than our dribbling friend, Mr. Bryant.

Regardless of your attitude about premarital sex, sex outside of relationships, or outright whoring, that's just plain nasty. That girl should have changed her drawers and washed her coochiecoo in between.

Dear Zolef (or whatever your name is),

Yes, there is fear, yet there is still preoccupation. How could one prove that fear of prison rape is really the deterant.

Oh, and buy the way, Smiley: laugh
