Pull their head out of the soup, and then write "Pwned" on their forehead in black marker.

We just talked about that today in Debate 1. It would really depend on the circumstances...like, if I immediately recognized him as a known murderer or something, I'd stand there and tell everyone I just caught a wanted man. If he was some guy I'd never seen before, I'd pull him out.

As a physician, I would continue walking because if I tried to save this man's life and somehow failed, than some trial lawyer, like John Edwards, would sue me for all I've got and then my family would be living on the streets because I could no longer afford malpractice insurance.

I think I would be able to determine if he was sucking soup intentionally or not. I certainly would take the time to assess a potentially life threatining situation.
As far as the lawsuit thing goes. I'm pretty sure in a situation such as this you would be covered by the various good samaritan laws.
