Caught this article this morning. Thought it was very interesting and a little freaky. I hope our galaxy isn't hurtling towards some other one out there.

It is, but it will take a billion years or so for the Milky Way to collide with the Virgo cluster. Of course, universal expansion might prevent it all anyways, but it's not like there will even be human life around to notice.
