Is that by the same people who speculate that George Washington, Lincoln, Napolean, Johnny Appleseed and Jerry* were all gay?

*From Tom & Jerry. Not Tom though. He was always after that white girl cat with the blue eye shadow and the fluffy tail.

Er... not to put too fine a point on it, homosexual relations between an older man and a young boy were common in Ancient Greece; while that doesn't mean they were having sex, it's not really terribly farfetched.

Of course, the more pertinent issue is why it would matter, but each to his own.

EDIT: Spelling.

I heard a rumour that Tom was molested by Peppy lePew but it was against his will. Does that make him gay?

Eh, I don't care one way or the other. Dana Plato's homosexual experiences are more interesting to me than some long dead Greek guys'.

I was just noting that no matter what dead historical personage you're talking about, there's always some group of folks convinced that they're gay and working to prove it off of old letters to their mothers and drug store receipts.
