Go to Stok's coffee shop and frighten the normal people.

Let me see about flights to DC on the 24th.

Can someone pick me up and drop me at Dulles if I grab a shuttle?

Oops, my wife just reminded me, I can't do the 24th, 25th or 26th.

We have Red Sox V Yankee tickets.

Anytime in October is probably fine, though.

I think that works best for me, too. Work has been hellatious as we try to get out our next release by the end of this month.

I live up in the north-central part of Maryland but work in Columbia, which isn't too far from Baltimore-Washington Airport. If you can fly into BWI, I can help ya out on the pick up and drop off (that goes for anyone flying into the area for this, especially if we do this on a Friday or Saturday)- if you want to fly into Dulles, perhaps the Skeetmeister or some other NoVa resident can help ya out...or there's always the possibility of you out-of-towners renting a car from your desired airport...

We still need to decide the location and date of the boozefest. Again, the DC/Baltimore/NoVa area is the general consensus for this go round. If you can suggest some good pubs or sports bar in this general area, post a link to the watering hole. Perhaps it will help in our decision-making!

Keep in mind if we go with your choice of watering hole and it sucks, you have to buy the first round! Smiley: boozing

I can also pick people up from either BWI or Greenbelt Metro Station if for some godforsaken reason you take National

Hey Smash, um, you have any extra tickets for those games? My gf keeps taunting me with NY tickets, but I'd rather see em at Fenway (never been there before).

Alas, no.

I think we spent about two mortgage payments on tickets for three games :(

If this actually gets set up I can pick up some people as well. Dulles or BWI are both fine.

Now that we're in October, those of you interested in hooking up for some drinks in the DC/Baltimore/NoVa area throw out some possible Friday or Saturday dates... I like 10/23, as it should give everyone enough time to plan and it's a Saturday, so those flying in can make their travel plans. Also, nobody would have to take the time off (if they work during the week) for this boozefest event.

If pressed, I'll get off my lazy *** and find a suitable location for our carousing.
