I am. I'm doing it for the green. Double time is good, although, now that I'm sitting here, I wish I would have taken the day off.

I'm thankfully not working today, was gonna cut the grass (which hasn't been done in about a month) but the lawnmower started pouring out white smoke. Oh well, just one more reason for my neighbors to hate me...

I have to work today. I even work in labor, and not services too. Smiley: disappointed

Wanna celebrate Festivus?

edit: Actually, thinking back, Festivus would be the perfect Marxist holiday.

Labor day is Labour Day in Canada.

I wish i could work it, i get like double time and half working stat shifts. Since first half tuition is due on September 9th i could use it.

If I didn't have to work until just now, does it still count as working on Labor Day?

Can't wait 'till I start my new job, I miss the 9-5.

Well, it's actually goin' to be 8 to 4, but you get what I'm sayin'.

I love that seinfeld episode. BTW, my rents worked today.

I worked today, too.

I also worked on the 4th of July.

Working fast food blows horse ***.

But hell, at least I have a job, since Bush hasn't done anything that'd make it possible to outsource fast food...

That's as a good of a reason as any I can think of.

It's one of the 3 'holidays' I have the option of taking off during the year with pay, so I don't look a gift horse in the mouth. They can name it whatever they like.

I wish they'd change it to "Lazy Sit-On-Your-*** Day".

They should probably add in a "National Beaner Day" to go with it.

"Lazy Sit-On-Your-*** Day" and "National Beaner Day" could very well be the same day.

Just sayin'
