I can understand not agreeing with someone's policy, but booing best wishes for heart surgery? Sheesh.

Well I've been labeled conservative teehee.... i definitely think that is poor taste. I really do hope Clinton does well. Those animals do not speak for all of us.

AP retracted the story...it was some cheers and raucous noise..not boos.

Sorry.

I think that says a lot about the AP...

Oh fuck you. It does say something. They're human.

Look into it sometime and maybe you could evolve into something close.

Goddamn Pickleprince... I was just saying it was real cool that they retracted it and admitted the mistake. That was awfully responsible of them.

I realized you could have been going either way right after I posted.

My bad.

What? You mean AP will leap to reporting unsubstantiated rummors as fact when it portrays conservatives in a bad light?

Wow. Pretty topical. Weren't we just talking about Liberal bias?

Most of the stuff drudge has on his site is links to other news sites. The occasional "exclusives" he does should be taken w/ a grain of salt, and I think most people realize it.

I think there's a world of difference between a web site that gets its news *from* other sources and occasionaly has it's own scoops, and the AP which is used as a *source* of news for literally thousands of news agencies around the world.

It's not like CNN reprints Druge report stories the second they come across the wire.

No comparison there Joph.

yeah, CNN is nowhere near that fast. it takes them at least four or five minutes to break news.

No, actually I think it says more about each of you who readily thought that your preconceived notions of compassionate conservatism were validated by a story which portrayed these supposed fiends in such a negative light.

Perhaps the bleeding heart liberals don't bleed for everyone, but just the precious few who happen to agree with them?

^I didn't think it said much, if that counts.

I'm sure a large number of libs would be booing Bush if he had a heart attack.

The left and right may vehemently disagree on policy, but on a personal level, we exhibit pretty much the same human behavior.
